I don't have it marked either, but it's fresh on my mind. I remember when I went to the store to buy the In my Place single. It wasn't there. I went the next day, it was not there. Finally I gave up and ordered it online, which takes longer and is a bit more expensive. It pissed me off. I want the single the day of its release. I don't want to have to wait and see if it's possibly there. I don't know what I should do for The Scientist. Order it or cross my fingers that it'll be there.....what's a fan to do? *sigh* :D

They shouldn't. I just thought it was interesting how opinions of the song differed from critics to fans.

amazingly incredible album, yes. I am surprised at the numbers it has been pulling in the US. The album is now gold after a month. It is holding steady on the charts, only slipping one or two places a week, which is pretty good considering. Just think what'll happen when single #2 comes out.........pandemonium... :lol:

haha, that video killed me. The first time I saw it I laughed so hard. Then I immediately watched it again. Funny stuff. And Johnny dreaming of jazz was too good.......

has anyone else noticed that typically all critics praise this song as one of the album highlights, but among coldplay fans it is one of the least popular? what do you make of that? I, personally, like the song a lot. It's not a favorite, but I do really dig it.

all of their b-sides are quite excellent, so that makes it hard to pick just one. But, I may just go ahead and say Such a Rush. That song blows me away. The ending is perfection.

yeah, this is the part that gets me every single time. It is absolutely brilliant and lovely! Before the album came out, the first time I saw MTV $2 Bill, The Scientist made me cry like a fool. :) I saw that show right a few days after I saw Cp live myself and it brought back great memories. I love music that can move me, that's why I love Coldplay.

yeah, they showed a clip from his new movie 'one hour photo' in which he plays another psycho. It looks really good and he probably did a fanstastic job in that film. Insomnia was ok; his character was different from his usual, but nothing too amazing. This next one though is supposed to be really un-Robin like. I want to see it.

he very well could have been singing, but from what I saw he was acting like a rabbit, jumping out of his chair, etc. I think he tries too hard to be funny and he just never settles down. I couldn't stand it. :lol: I was like, "give me some Coldplay!"

I noticed that Chris did look tired, but that's to be expected. Being in one of the best bands in the world takes a lot out of a person, no? It was a good performance; I got all excited. I need to watch it again soon. Man, Robin Williams. *shakes head* I watched him with the mute button on. geez.

yep, they'll be on conan on the 27th. woot! I never watch these shows unless someone good is on. It is literally too much of nothing and then oh some guests come on. anyone see Doves on letterman last week?....for 3 minutes? Just think of how much better it could be if dave talked less and guests had more time. ughh. does anyone know if leno is 'live' live? or do they tape it earlier in the day like letterman? anyone? bueller?

so what's the correct story about this video? I've heard from reliable sources that the other members were not in the vid cuz of the weather and whatnot. But I also heard that is was cuz Will's mum passed away that day. which is the truth?

it is a great song, and great live, but i think it was a good call not to put it on the album. dunno why, just was. :lol:
