well, before the photoshoot there were other pictures of her out with her pulling down her shirt to show her bra doing a sexy pose and then she was lying on top of a guy with her shirt pulled up, showing her stomach and he had his hand on her waist. those disturbed me a pretty good bit, but these were a little too much.

Yes, I'm a big Johnny Cash fan too and this song was a borderline Christian song for Coldplay which I loved. I know Johnny Cash certainly meant it to be interpreted that way.

I used to like her because she seemed like a genuine person who had strong morals. Now I look at her and her dad and shake my head in disappointment. She had such an opportunity to be a good role model for kids and a strong witness for Christ but she blew it. My little sister has pretty much lost interest in her, which I can't say I'm disappointed about. The picture of her and her dad was just creepy. The topless picture was scary and weird but that picture's even worse I think.

Please don't say too long. Compared to the 10 track albums every band is coming out with now, X&Y had a longer-lasting appeal to it than the next album probably will. In my opinion, too many bands are short-changing consumers by not filling up the albums with hits (especially Christian rock, which I love but is going downhill because of this). I hate to hear that Coldplay is doing the same with a 10-track tracklist for Viva La Vida.

Well it WAS working well. I've actually got two free, very effective anti-virus programs on my computer. One is called SuperAntiSpyware. It always finds 8 Trojans when I scan, most of them called "Vundo" and when it gets rid of them I have to reboot. They always come back as something else! Then I tried AVG and it didn't even find them but I know they're still there because I keep getting random porno pop-ups. :veryangry2: It's frustrating, but at least I finally have a legit copy of the song. Now the question is where do I go from here.

The sad thing is I downloaded the single off of Rapidshare and it put viruses on my computer. Then today I find out that they're giving away the song for free. I guess that's what I get for downloading. :smash:

I don't know, I never bought into the numbers logic. I once read a site that made the case that George W. Bush is the antichrist because the letters of his name in Hebrew added up to 666 or something of the sort. Maybe when we hear the song 42 it will clear up some of the mystery.

X&Y was my first ever Coldplay album. I bought it after hearing Speed of Sound because Speed of Sound was incredible. It's still one of my most played songs on iTunes. It has a rock edge that the albums before it don't really have, and quite possibly the most underrated Coldplay song is Twisted Logic. The lyrics, the music, the vocals, I love it when the guitar picks up towards the end of the song, it sounds so epic and if you take away Til Kingdom Come, it's a great closer for the album. I love the other two albums, don't get me wrong, but X&Y was my first love and always will be. Viva La Vida scares me a little bit for some reason. I wasn't blown away by Violet Hill, although it was a great song. X&Y will just always be special to me.
