jonas brothers are tearing up the charts, i've heard them compared to the beatles a few times. they're more of a tweeny band but their music is not as offensive as i originally thought it would be. red hot chili peppers, weezer, foo fighters, nickelback...they're all up there in terms of biggest bands. seems like the biggest bands these days are the punk rock/emo bands, but biggest band doesn't hold the same weight as it used to in terms of popularity. now it's mostly rap and r&b.

Well homosexuality is wrong so I think it celebrates gross and wrong behavior, plus the lyrics, regardless of topic, are terrible anyways, she's not a great singer, the beat is annoying, and the song is just overall bad.

Lil Wayne album of the year...I almost laughed at that one. Just because people buy something doesn't mean it's quality. I don't remember how the Foo Fighters did at the Grammy's this year but I remember thinking their album deserved more accolades.

Daylight: I love the music and overall sound. Warning Sign: Another great song. Green Eyes: A beautiful love song. Twisted Logic: Still has the baddest guitar that Coldplay's ever done. A Message: I love the acoustic feel of the song at the beginning and then the grand U2 sound as the song develops.

42 sounded like it had a backing track for sure because during the breakdown Jonny was playing the first part of the guitar and then he was playing the second part and yet the first part was still going, but 42 almost has to have a backing track.

Really? We get mostly all South Carolina radio stations...every once in awhile (and I mean a WHILE) we'll get "Clocks" on the Top 40 station, and I've heard "Talk" ONCE on a station in Georgia that plays all kinds of different rock music (a lot of U2) but I have yet to hear VLV or any other songs from the new album. Plus a lot of my friends have definitely heard of them but have never really heard them. The only Coldplay fans I know are people who don't really listen to the radio anyways.

I saw Lost and I didn't notice any sort of backing track, but that's just me. I didn't catch the first song.
