What's the connection? It will fear all the people that came back after MX... Don't think it would do good for the album sales... Dance singles don't sells albums and we all know it. But with no good sales... sorry... I am a big Coldplay fan and it doesn't look good at all. At that stage of its life X&Y had sold 907,240 copies, while Viva La Vida has sold 668,114 copies. HUGE difference between this 2... and it's very sad and It will never outsell Duffy's album... 300K between them and Duffy are more strong now. very sad. :( EDIT: they must have realese another video clip... for VLV, this song is huge and only from the album, no promotion and no Video Clip... I think it will be one of the most successful song of the year and increase the album selling, and sadly... im not seeing anything like this happening. any NEWS?!

you can add the 300K of the UK from the first 3 days... and its like wow. like 3 years I'm checking this chart and I never saw numbers like this. I saw 1.2 I think but 1.6 its like the best ever... serious. and if we had the more 300K they sold like 2 million copies in 10-12 days... Unbelievable.

The set leads Nielsen SoundScan's Building chart, released today (June 18), with unweighted first-day sales of 316,000 copies through the close of business yesterday. so... this wasn't a full day :) great numbers... It's a shame that in the ALL-WORLD album chart they will be number 2 this week and next week they will be number 1... if the album was realese in the same day all over the world so it sold a lot than a 1 million copies of LIL WAYNE but this week is without US sales... so LIL will be number 1... next week thou.

I think they stupid... cuz on ITUNES the album sold 140.000 in his frist day... what about the other stores? at least another 100K in first day... they will do 600-700 but its not because of this article. its stupid.

OMGGG!!! VLV (single) is number 1 on the Billboard!!! CANT BELIVE IT! after more than a 246.000 in this week the single is up from 2 to 1! COLDPLAY number 1 on the song chart in the US! The Album will be number 1 next week... for sure. They stay only for 1 week... because they drop to number 4 in the ITUNES singles and still droping cuz the album break the sales record there... so the single is stop being high alone.
