  1. Toronto!! Finally! Although now I wish there was an Atlanta date...
  2. Ask them if they will bring the Nappies back! HAHA :) Congrats!!
  3. Looks like Montreal had an incredible crowd! Might have to take a road trip to Montreal when Coldplay comes again! :D
  4. Yay! I'm volunteering there so come visit us! :)
  5. Taliaa, thank you soooo much!! Hopefully we all get GA!! xJNB94X, I would think it would be the most expensive so about $131 with tax included?! Correct me if I'm wrong! Just speculating! :)
  6. they easily could have sold all seats at rogers centre. rawr. but oh well! hopefully the pre-sale will release some GA! :O I read on wiseguys presales that for Canada, the code could be either the phone number on the back of the card or just 'AMEX'. Do we know for sure they're doing the amex preferred seating presale code? It doesn't say in the info. :S
  7. x_TheSkyCouldFall, a definite concert you have to go in the future. it's such a different energy (if that makes sense!)! Yaay! Thanks yaya2646! but isn't that floor seats? Usually it would just be a huge blue section. Holy jeeze, $131. Expensive!
  8. Haha! I never used my Argos vouchers either! I tried selling them...failed! :P I really wish Coldplay did a pre-sale of their own. Mumford & Sons did that when they came to Canada in October!
  9. :O! That's a really good spot! All of it still a blur. My mum and my brother were in the 500s and they still had a good time, I don't think they complained about the sound! I heard that when they played in 2008 at the ACC, the tickets were sold out within hours. So I really hope they play at the Rogers Centre; just gives a lot of people a chance to see them! But I hope they don't do that Argos Pre-sale thing if it does get changed to the Rogers Centre. :/ Yay! Thanks Taliaa for the info! :D
  10. Yeah! I'm worrying about it too! This happened before and they pushed back the pre-sale. but to be safe, i would check tomorrow morning!
  11. Yeah! It was for Viva when they changed it to the Rogers Centre! And that was sold-out.
  12. i thiiink it was around $100 for GA tickets (in 2009) maybe they're still debating about venues (although they already announced it). there was a problem like that a couple of years back with toronto's date not showing up on ticketmaster and changed from ACC to Rogers Centre. we will have to wait and see! :D
  13. we've got a date! july 23rd at the ACC!
  14. AHHHH! CANNOT WAAIT! :D only thing; show is not showing up on ticketmaster! and this is going to sell out fast! should have done it at the rogers centre again? no?
  15. same! i am waiting until the official release date! i have it pre-ordered through itunes as well so whenever that comes in! :)
  16. someone put the concert (in segments like Much Music) on youtube!
  17. Yay! Awesome! Welcome to the crew! ;)
  18. ^ haha yeah! The concert's all online on much music's website! :)
  19. did you have one of those red rogers hair cover/bandana things on? :P
  20. Oooh man, was this such a surreal moment or what. Even after 2 days, it just doesn't seem like it happened. It was amazing. My sister and I got there at 12:30pm (wristband line) and we met such amazing people in line (including coldplayer, w1ll1am7) where it was 6 of us then PlayAMessage met up with us (it was nice meeting you and anytime! always here to help out a fellow coldplayer)! We knew gates opened for us at 6:45pm but waiting in line made the experience awesome as well! STORY: I swear I saw Guy walk past our line outside of Much but only one other person saw as well, but I was too starstruck to even say a word (but he seemed busy or needed to go somewhere, probably to the Edge interview) Much Music were very well prepared and super nice to all of us (apparently they knew months before that Coldplay was going to come! I don't know how they kept that secret for so long!). A couple of people who work at Much Music gave out ponchos and answered a lot of questions we had (Mostly being: Were in the front of the line?). They did not tell us about the setlist - obviously wanted to keep that a secret! They took a picture of us (all 7!) because we were first in line, that was very nice of them! If we had any questions, we would tweet them and get answers within minutes! We also got to see the band's soundcheck for a good 10 minutes or so! That was really cool! And it rained. A lot. Forgot to mention that. Haha! Then it came, 6:45pm. They started closing off Queens St. and they took us into the lot in 20s at 7pm and even though my sister and I are 5'0 and 5'2 respectively, we had a very nice view of the stage (about less than 10 people behind!). But I was a tad jealous of the Rogers ticket holders but honestly, anywhere in the lot, you had a very good view. Much Music entertained us until 9pm and then, the lights dimmed and the rain stopped! And next thing you know, Coldplay was on stage. Everything about the concert was just flawless, it was amazing. I don't know how to describe it. It felt so intimate (even with thousands of people watching behind us), it was…no words. From the moment MX/HLH started to In My Place to playing Clocks to their newer songs (Paradise sounds AMAZING live), it was just perfect. The crowd was great! Singing along to both the newer and old songs. It was very nice of them to do an Amy Whinehouse tribute! Us Against the World, hearing it live…was just the icing on the cake. LOVED IT. Chris, Jonny, Will, Guy were so lively and happy and they seemed to really enjoy themselves! I'm really glad! (Haha Chris made a comment about Justin Bieber!) Big big thanks to Much Music for sure, they did an amazing job. To the people (and coldplayers) I met in line, you're awesome - I can't wait for when we meet up for the next concert! And finally, Coldplay - for being them. Love life so much right now. Quote from the show: "Coming to Canada is like taking a bath in greatness." - Chris Martin (Sorry for the long post! :P I'm just too excited!)
  21. Thanks for the info!! :) How far away is the barricade from Rogers ticket holders to wristbands? Debatinf whether or not waiting for 6 hours is a good idea or not. :/ A bit bummed about it! Hopefully I can see! kinda sucks being 5'0 tall right now! Ahah!
  22. Now it's thunder-showers for both the afternoon AND evening. 70% chance. Planned on waiting in line...for a long long time!
