God, what an amazing show..I was so sad when it was over but I still have next weekend in DC to look forward too :)

OMG Ok for being my first ever coldplay concert, I can't believe what I just saw. That has to be the best concert I have ever been to in my life. The band was definitily ON the whole night! Big shoutout to the sign gang becuase the band really really appreciated it, I've never seen all 4 of them bow together like that at the end of the show in any live vid I have ever seen. BTW, a security guard gave the girl next to me a copy of the setlist like 2 songs in so that was a special treat :). Politik and Green Eyes were NOT on the list, but the rest of the encores were. Too bad I didn't get to keep the list but I was too nice to ask her to let me have it. (Interesting side story, she and her girlfriend were very very hot lesbians and they were feeling each other up and dancing with each other the whole night :D, hot lesbians and Coldplay, how can you beat that :lol: hahahaha) Anyway, I had such an amazing view, too bad I only got a little bit of Violet Hill on camera (I couldn't hold the camera up all night and enjoy the concert). I was right at the end of the left stage leg. Johnny came all the way out and ROCKED In My Place(Chris said "I think we have our first live single" at the end of the song so hopefully they will release that part if not all of the concert). They all ran past me to get the back of the arena to play an acoustic version of the scientist and death will never conquer with Will singing of course. All I can say if they don't release a live recording of that concert or a video, they are killing themselves becuase that was an AMAZING performance. No f'ing Warning Sign tho, what gives? Its easily one of their top 5 songs and they never play it...EVER..:(:(:(:(:( . Overall, best live performance ever and the bar is exxxxxxxxxxtremely high for next weekend in DC. I don't know how DC is supposed to live up to the kind of fans Philly has. Most people were singing their heads off. Kinda funny people stopped clapping halfway through strawberry swing tho, I tried to keep them going but no dice. Thanks to Coldplay and the sign gang for a great night!!!!!!!!

Woooooo can't wait for tommorow!!! Its finally here. I thought this was going to be the longest month long wait ever after they rescheduled. BTW I'm going to be in section 1 so I could help with distribuition of the signs in that section if I get there early enough. Which I should becuase I'm going to be to excited not to drive up to philly super early. Also, If anyone lives in philly and wants to see them in DC next sunday as well, I have a an extra ticket in section 120 becuase my friend bailed on me. Price negotiable.

Stageside Ticket!! I have 1 (One) ticket available for section 120 row 13(Stageside). I bought it so a friend could go but now she will not be able to make it. I paid about 180 per ticket. Willing to be negotiable with price especially for a true coldplay fan. Keep in mind you will be next to me so I hope you are into coldplay as much as me. You can paypay me and I will mail you the physical ticket or I can meet in the venue parking lot before the show. Whatever works.

I'm a little worried about this concert to be honest. Not a whole lot of activity in the thread and seems like everyone has not so good seats. Am I the only one who was able to get decent seats? Has anyone ever seen coldplay in DC and what kind of show it was? Hopefully it is one to remember becuase I paid a big chunk of cash for my stage side seats for me and 2 friends. Oh well, if the crowd or band isn't into it there is always my 12th row seat in philly a few days before this one :cool:

I was able to get it becuase someone obviously returned the ticket now that the show was rescheduled. I have been checking the wachovia ticket office online for one best available ticket like everyday to see what kind of tickets were available. I saw this little baby come up (Section 1 row 12) and I about pee'd my pants. I bought it on the spot. So I'd keep checking the ticket office becuase people/promoters/douchebags return tickets so I was able to take advantage..I get to see coldplay twice in one week. :D:D:D I'm soo flipping excitied.

Lame about the new schedule..Especially the part of me seeing them in DC on the 2nd show of the tour...which is now the 2nd to last date in America before they go to Canada. Oh well. I feel better now that I was able to get a philly ticket (Section 1 Row 12) for face value :D

I listened to it on the day of the interview, I just assummed they wanted to open on the 15 of june, but couldn't have the "Magic Balls" done in time for that so they made the philly show the opening gig. So that would mean they are pusing 9 gigs back to open up at The Forum. Then they are playing a few more dates in CA and nevada then doing a Canadian Tour?!?!?!?!?WTF seriously. I am going to find their tour management and give them a taste of MY "Magic Balls"

Let me just say this, I sat through about 35 minutes of commercials just to see coldplay perform. I knew they weren't going to let them play all 5 songs they did at the taping but what kind of bullshit is it that they only played about half - 3/4 of Viva La Vida. They got about halfway through the song and just started rolling credits and ended the show? WTF! One commercial less and you could have aired the entire song instead of cutting them off. You fucking greedy ABC cocksuckers. Oh, and did anyone listen to them on KROQ on Monday? Worst interviewers ever. What a piece of shit radio station that is. 70 percent of the "interview" is the stupid radio "personailites" talking and talking and talking. Do they know the point of a interview is to ask questions and LISTEN to who your interviewing instead of just offering up your dribble to fill time? Then they would interrupt CM by playing that gay ricky martin song Living da vida loca. Why? Becuase its got Vida somewhere in the title? Real creative guys....God, I feel sorry for Coldplay coming to america to promote the album becuase all they run into in the entertainment buisness is greedy cocksuckers who want nothing more then to hear themselves talk and exploit people. I am disappointed for the posts and enthusiam not shown on the DC thread. Sounds like all the real fans on the board are hitting up the philly show. Anyone planning on hitting up the DC show too? I didn't plan on going to philly since DC is only the second show and its much closer since I live in balitmore (plus I couldnt' get anyone to spurge for tickets in philly too). I would love to see them opening up the tour in philly tho too but I wasn't able to get decent seat at general admisson time (thanks to all you ticket brokers for sucking up all the good seats in the first day :angry: ). Anyone got (1) decent ticket they wouldn't mind selling to a coldplay fan so he can see them opening up the tour? :wink3:

I was online(ticketmaster) at 10am sharp. I must have refreshed for better seats about 25 times..Best I could do(if I didnt' want to be so far away in sec 102-109) was section 431 where I would have had a good look down view right on the stage. I winded up going to ebay and overpaying for section 120 row M. I can't believe the general sale was so shitty. Either I was high up and close to the stage or close to the floor at the opposite end of the venue. All I got to say is fuck bestbuy reward zone presale. What the fuck does Bestbuy have anything to do with Coldplay or thier fans? Anyway, did anyone else get some good seats through the general sale?
