  1. It IS a Rainy Day I listened to the EP for the first time on my bus ride home from school...and I swear when Rainy Day started, I thought it was someone's ringtone going off really loudly or something! I was like...hmm interesting sound! Hahaha. But it is an awesome song...and I am from Seattle, WA, so it is very fitting! ;)
  2. Nice to meet you too! :)
  3. I think they said that it's Eno talking at the beginning...but then he begins counting 1,2,3,4 and starts clapping and the "It's a bit flat" happens. The reason why it sounds exactly like Chris is because it IS him...i think they were explaining that Eno's talking at the very beginning of the song, but he can't be saying "It's a bit flat," at the same time he's counting.
  4. Cemeteries of London - 19 Lost! - 7 42 - 14 [-] Lovers in Japan - 8 Yes - 16 Viva la Vida - 14 Violet Hill - 4 Strawberry Swing - 21 [+] Death and All His Friends - 23
  5. I know, Strawberry Swing is so peaceful and optimistic! I love it. :daisy:
  6. Thanks guys for the welcomes and your opinions! That's interesting, I would have thought it was DAAHF as well. I wasn't drawn to 42 right away, but I've been listening to 42 more and it's growing on me. To me it sounds like it could fit on AROBTTH; it reminds me quite a bit of the song AROBTTH actually.
  7. Hello everyone! I've been a Coldplay fan as long as I can remember and I love each and every album for its own style and unique sound. Although I have to say that Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends is pretty AMAZING and the most excited I've ever been about one of their new releases. A little about me: I live in Seattle, WA, the top left corner of the United States. :) It is a great, diverse city. Although I am really upset that Coldplay are not stopping here on their N. American tour, neither here in WA nor Oregon. I really hope they add a city closer to me! I'm originally from Liverpool (any Reds fans out there? :) ) and love running, drawing, coffee, and music.
  8. Hello everyone, My apologies if there is already a thread on this started, I am brand new to these boards! So, I've listened to the whole VLVODAAHF album multiple times and I can't pick a favorite...all of the songs are just SO DAMN GOOD. Many of you probably recall reading in interviews about Coldplay talking about the new album and how it would contain "a song that everyone should hear before we die." Any consensus on what this song is?? Yes? Lovers in Japan? Cemeteries of London? I can't pick! And if this is already being discussed, please point me to the thread! :)
  9. I am still hearing "flat" and can't at all make out "fast." :\ So...ALL of it is Eno's voice? The low talking at the beginning before the clapping starts AND the "It's a bit fast/flat?" Or is it Chris imitating Eno...I'm confused!!
