I`m confused of the title. whats the meaning of it?

Do you guys have any idea what is being whispered at the beginning of Strawberry Swing?

This album has already cost me 200 dollars and I have not even purchased it yet :cry:

We've managed to work out who it was after all. The result is... interesting. Turns out this was actually Brian Eno. That opening part with the studio noises... there is someone talking, right before the hand-clapping starts. And it's BLINDINGLY obvious who he is and what he says, right? has anyone else noticed either an editing mistake or a mistake by chris on strawberry swing? at 2:19 he goes to say a word beginning with s but it cuts to him saying curve. it just sounds odd the more i hear it :laugh3: great song tho, one of my favourites.

I so love the lyrics to this track.........it instantly makes me smile. :) The line which goes like this: "Without you is a waste of time" This is so sad because it makes me think of how I feel now I have lost my soul mate :cry:

i love it. there's this part at the end where Chris' voice does this weird thing that i absolutely love. it's around 3:11 where he says "without you I'm just miles away". :wacky:

I think that this song must be the song that makes me want to turn the volume up and up. Especially the part at 2:35, Amazing. Those drums are really what makes this song. I want an instrumental version of this track, with lots of drums :D So do you also feel like boosting the volume with this track?

Just a pretty quick question and thread, last night at the Melbourne Gig, before getting into Strawberry Swing, Chris mentioned that he had written this song in Melbourne. Has anyone heard him say this before? I have a feeling he was just being nice as the last time he was in Melbourne would have been around 2005 or 2006. Given that he's a prolific writer, I doubt he would have held onto that song for 2 or 3 years only to contribute them to the VIVA sessions since he would have written so much material in between. Any thoughts?

At first I hated this track. I mean I liked it but compared to the others it was not so good. Well after more listens to it I am starting to like it more and more.
