  1. I just decided to restart one of my papers with a new topic... it's due on Friday :uhoh:
  2. MY NEW LATIN BOOK IS SO COOL :freak: Getting it made my day a little better :D
  3. sorry I was talking to my dad... what a coincidence! I either did really well or really badly on my neurobiology test today!
  4. I'm not good either :disappointed: I'm so so so exhausted, and all I want is to get through this week and find out if I got into Bryn Mawr :wreck: yeah! it doesn't show up if I don't put spaces in! <O> < O >
  5.? so Marisa, how are you <O> edit: WHY WON'T IT SHOW UP WHEN I MAKE IT  < O >
  6. yeah, we have rather large chins :uhoh: but more importantly, we are holding hands IN FRIENDSHIP  goodnight! I am jealous of your sleep :(
  7. :uhoh: *runs to photoshop* we totes should  we could share fun stories about daily LD-related things that happen to us! for example: today I got a brand new author to read in Latin class (LUCRETIUS YAY) and I got so excited that I ran through the school hugging the book and showing it to everyone... obsessions yay :P
  8. tomorrow or Friday :bomb: so close! I know, I'm smart like that :P I by mistake made a "your mom" joke to my mom today that actually made sense, and I thought of you :)
  9. united on the autism spectrum  haha, I just had an image of us meeting on a rainbow or something  cause of the visible light spectrum, autism spectrum... I'm weird. :shame:
  10. better question: WHY HAVEN'T I HEARD FROM BRYN MAWR?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! :bomb: you wouldn't forget if you knew me in real life :P not that I'm all weird in real life/different than I am on here, but it's just... more apparent
  11. I could make a chronological list of the obsessions that I've had throughout my life :P the biggest ones have been Latin, Beatles, and Coldplay, though :) yay! :cheesy: let's take over this thread and use it to discuss our oddities  they said it's because on internet forums/online communication in general, there aren't really social conventions to follow and stuff  you don't have to worry about reading people's faces, etc, and you can think for as long as you want before you "speak" true dat! being by yourself is where it's at!!
  12. I think these days my learning disability affects me most through my obsessions :uhoh: I get so ridiculously wrapped up in them, they're all-consuming- I actually wrote my college application essay about my obsessions, although in the essay I called them "passions" :P we weren't friends before? :bigcry: :P fun fact: I read somewhere that people with ASDs are more strongly drawn to places like internet forums... I thought that was really interesting  +10000000000000000 that's probably one of the truest statements that I've ever read :wacky:
  13. well that's one of the biggest components of AS, being unable to read people ;) I'm so so so bad at reading people. It was worse when I was younger though, but since then I've had help learning to notice people's facial expressions/what facial expressions mean, etc...
  14. you won't have heard of it, but it's called Nonverbal Learning Disability :nice: Some people believe it's something different from AS, but most believe that it's a form of AS on the autism spectrum (although not officially recognized :dozey:)... I fit the criteria for AS as well, though  I'm not sure I've ever met someone with a PDD-NOS before  maybe I have... ha I beat your score, 43! :P edit: damn, 45? I don't even know how I didn't get a perfect score
  15. I just took it for fun too...
  16. I have a learning disability that's a form of Asperger's... It's made life tough sometimes (social stuff can be a nightmare), but I've learned to deal with everything that it throws at me :) really, you have PDD-NOS? I didn't know that! haha, it takes a lot more than an online test to know if you have AS :P
  17. haha Makayla  [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQT88vFdVGQ]YouTube- Coldplay - Mischievous Guy - We ain't geography teacher[/ame]
  18. *tries not to say anything* ... ........ :lipsrsealed2: .... ... I CAN'T RESIST! the dis is too good to pass up! what's new? :dozey: phew! :sweatdrop: I saturn you, Marisa! <O> <O> <O> <O> <O> <O> <O> <O> <O> <O> edit: hey! the saturn symbols won't show up! < O > < O > < O > < O > < O > < O > < O > < O > < O > < O >
  19. no you don't, they're so inconvenient (most of the time)! where do I start? :\ just lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of stress and too much work:( I'm getting through it, though... And by the end of the week I'll know if I got into Bryn Mawr, so there's something to look forward to.
  20. I'm bad :disappointed: how are you? damnitttttttt it's sleeting outside... I cannot have a snow day tomorrow! :uhoh:
