Hmm, so I know I'm late on this one, but I just came across this thread. Anywayyyyy, what is this? It makes it sound like we're trying to harvest projects or something. The most amazing thing about the Postcards project was that it was just a one-off comment from Lore in a random thread that started the whole thing, and we all worked together to make it happen. Why would we ever want to force new projects?! Weird... And why was this started on the day that we got the postcards video...?

*throws up hands* I officially give up on looking for my postcards :P I'll just hope that they're there! Anywayyyyy, I'm still in shock that we got that video, and that it all happened! Since I've only been running onto the forum in 5-minute intervals, I haven't really had the chance to appreciate all of this... Now I'm appreciating it! :lol: Congrats to everyone who saw their postcards in the video, by the way :nice:

I'm finally home, and look what I discovered when I got back! Thanks Ian, you're the best! I'll look through them right now :)

^ I want to find mine there too, but I've watched the video a million times and don't see them, so I've basically given up hope :P I'm optimistic that they got there, though! :) EDIT: Ian (wherever you are...) could you possibly make a ton of screencaps like you did for the VLV video??? I'm having trouble pausing the video, and I want to search/look at everyone's postcards :\

Well it was more "GWYNETH!.... Chris....:wacky:" so I think people were pretty freaked out :P I have a lot more Coldplay stories, but they'll have to wait, I need to sleep :\ I miss you guys- I'll be able to get back on for real tomorrow night! :dance:

Me tooooo, but my mom's kicking me off the computer now :bigcry: I'll be back tomorrow, I hope people are still celebrating- I've been waiting 4 months for this, I don't want to miss the party! :P

:laugh3: Wellllll they always knew about my Coldplay obsession, but the problem is now they know about coldplaying. Which could prove to be an issue :uhoh: But it was worth it! :dance: I can't believe that they agreed to go back to the hotel :stunned: Yes, the video is amazing!!!! I'm a little sad that I can't see my postcards, but Debs said that she set them up so that they could see all of them, so I'm still confident that they got there and the band saw them :)

I'd also like to add that this whole thing makes the band feel much closer to the fans, not "big celebrities". They don't feel like the biggest band in the world when you can send them postcards and they read & enjoy them! :wacky: I should go to sleep before I die of Coldplay-induced bliss :P

Haha, remember when we were stuck for like 2 days trying to figure out if the Bakery had a mail slot? :dozey: Thank god for Debs! And I remember staying up all night discussing the details... I was very grumpy at school those few weeks :lol: I'm going to go through the thread when I get home, right now I'm crouched over my laptop in my hotel room :\ PS- I cried too :P And I was shaking when I watched it.. I was actually out to breakfast, and once it was past 3 in the UK I couldn't stand the wait any more and asked my dad if I could check coldplay.com his Blackberry- I saw that there was a video, but I couldn't watch it! So I demanded that we drive back to the hotel so I could watch it, and they actually agreed. You should've seen how fast I ran to my hotel room! :laugh3:

I have several random thoughts, but I'll just share right now that I'm at Disney World and I went on the Great Movie ride today, and at the end they showed a bit of Shakespeare in Love! And we're in this quiet ride with like 50 other people, and I yelled out "Gwyneth!" :uhoh: :lol:

I know I'm super late to the party, but I'm finally back at my computer and can properly celebrate!!!!! I'm still so excited, I was talking about it all day (I actually told my parents about it, I was too excited :uhoh:).... I can't see my postcard in the video, but it was still amazing!! I assume someone has ripped it by now? *goes to watch video again* Has anyone taken screencaps yet so I can try looking for my postcard again?
