  1. Well that was... odd. I guess we'll see what the actual context of those quotes is when the issue comes out tomorrow
  2. I'M BACKKKKK, and I'm on such a Latin high! I know that's incredibly, mind-blowingly dorky, but HOLY CRAP my work experience is so awesome! *needs to tell everyone about it* Oh, and can you guys help me construct an approximately 50 minute long Coldplay playlist for my metro rides in the morning? Pretty pleaseeee :D
  3. I cried the first time when it ended!
  4. we were sittingggggg... these videos from my concert are so awesome!
  5. more like Sarah Palin :censored: :veryangry2:  I still haven't gotten over the election, even though Obama is president
  6. It was awesome looking back on it, but when I was crying on the plane in Boston, it wasn't as fun! My seats were... okay, not amazing, but I really didn't mind. They were ALL the way up (second to last row), but right next to the stage, so we were still pretty close :nice: edit: oh and do any sane people like Sarah Palin?!
  7. Alaska? Can you see Russia from your house? /politics :P Anywayyyyy. Once upon a time, I bought my first Coldplay ticket for July 2nd in DC. Even though I was going to be in Boston, as a birthday present my parents agreed to fly me back home for the night. And then Coldplay announced that they were switching the dates around. I panicked because I was going to England from July 5th- August 3rd. I anxiously waited until they announced the new date, and lo and behold, it was August 3rd. So I was scheduled to land in Boston at 4PM August 3rd from London, so we switched my July 2nd flight (from Boston to DC) to August 3rd. Sounds simple, right? I just connect in Boston, I land in DC at around 6, plenty of time. Hell no. After not sleeping for about 40 hours, I stepped of my transatlantic flight in Boston to discover that they had grounded the entire airport because of a storm. 4PM passed... 5PM passed...5:30 passed. We finally boarded but there was a 90% chance that they were going to CANCEL the flight completely! I was freaking out! We finally took off at 6, I landed at 7:50, left the airport at 8:25, my dad sped through DC and I got to the concert at 8:50... I just made it to my seat before LIT started!
  8. Who, me? That's been my font color for like 6 months, you've never mentioned it before! :P
  9. Aw, you've never seen them? That sucks... I had to wait for a while to finally see them too. It just makes the first concert even sweeter when it finally does happen! Plus, did I ever tell you what I had to do to get to my August concert on time? It's quite the story
  10. AHHH! Someone has uploaded really good videos of my entire Halloween concert on Youtube! *goes to download all of them*
  11. Yeah, it's still one of my favorite Coldplay songs! But in my video from the concert you can hear both my mom and I sobbing  My first Coldplay concert was 3 days before he died, and I didn't even know anything was going on, so the song didn't really mean as much to me then. But in October... oh man, we were a mess!
  12. It's a shame that this song always reminds me of Extras now :P But if it didn't remind me of Extras it would only remind me of my grandfather dying, so I guess it's good to have something funny mixed in... *shrug* (this song always reminds my mom of my grandfather's death, so she passed that on to me :\ you should have seen us when they played it at the concert ) edit: anyone want to help me figure out a Coldplay playlist for a long metro ride tomorrow morning?
  13. Oooh. :wideeyed: *puts on Fix You*
  14. Okay, I settled on adding some color to my existing sig pic. :D anyway, back on topic.. oh, I never meant to cause you troubleeeeeee

  16. I love how everyone else is always just like "bye!", and I always freak out and tell the person not to leave :P
  17. ^ Thanks! :nice: *switches thread back on topic* I WAS DIGGING FOR GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD
  18. I would make a new sig picture, but I can't part with my current one! EDIT: nooooooooooo, Marisa, stay! Why do you need to go so soon?
  19. Darcy, what font is that? it's really cool! PS- your sig says 2/1/08.. Wrong year!
  20. Hmm. *goes to work on sig again*
  21. Way to show us all up, Darcy :P
  22. :uhoh: *succumbs to the peer pressure* I'll add a line to my sig too :nice:
  23. Mmm you may need to fix the font in the image a bit, Marisa, it's kinda hard to read, but I like it!
  24. Well technically not, unless you speak as you type ;) :laugh3: edit: to erick
