  1. That one guy was really goin' for it! For what it's worth, here's a vid of Fix You from my far back-ish spot [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60WrISxC-2A]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=60WrISxC-2A[/ame] And here's one of Girl Talk mashing Coldplay [ame= ] [/ame]
  2. amazing show! I usually see them at the ACC where they are super strict about taking videos, so I FINALLY (after 5 times seeing them) got to get videos of my favourite tracks! Was amazed they still managed to do those big yellow balloons even outdoors! Had good spots during Jason Mraz but then moved back a bit so we could maneuver our way out easier. Even moved back, however, we were still about on par with floor seats at the ACC (and being 6'2 doesn't hurt either, sorry if any of you guys were behind me!). also, don't hate, but I left about 50 minutes into the set to go see Girl Talk (right after Viva La Vida). Still can't get over them stupidly scheduling them both at the same time. It was such a difficult choice but I LOVE Girl Talk and had to see him live, and had so much fun there! He even sampled Coldplay in a few of his tracks and had the big yellow balloons on his side of the island, somehow. Great night, overall! Metro trip home was fun too. Since Girl Talk got out 10 minutes before Coldplay we managed to beat the lines while still hearing Coldplay from far back. Lots of drunk people on the metro holding the balloons, trying to run up the down escalator (and failing, despite the crowds cheering them on).
  3. random question, my aunt lives in London around the corner from Abbey Road studios. I've been meaning to visit her for a while now, and was just wondering if the bakery is a far trek from there?? I cannot believe I have never seen this thread before. This is such the typical stalker thing that I would for sure be doing.
  4. so it wasn't just me! that's kinda shitty, where are all the GA tickets going then?
  5. I tried just out of curiosity. set the ticket dropdown to GA first thing for two tickets but nothing came up. tried again immediately after and it has been loading for about three minutes
  6. Amen. I hate to say it but I'm out too. I don't mean to sound pissy or anything, I'm sure anyone going will have a great time but I've spent a lot of money on Coldplay concerts and feel like I can't justify spending any more unless they were amaaazing seats. Wish it would've been at the Amphitheatre!
  7. Yeah it's true, I sometimes find myself complaining about the setlist but I understand that it's bound to happen when I've seen them the last four times they've come around! I sympathize with the people who haven't been fortunate enough to get through ticketmaster 10 seconds after 10 (so those who have never got to see Yellow or In My Place or whatev). I notice that this tour seems to have a lot more amphitheatre stops. Maybe (just maybe) it might open up a bit more flexibility than they'd have in a stadium where the production would probably be higher? I'll hold out hope!
  8. this is actually getting ridiculous! I have this feeling that they're going to post the presale sometime while I'm at school or something.
  9. so we're still waiting on Toronto dates to be posted? seems weird they haven't been, most presales start tomorrow at the earliest
  10. I guess we're doin the PM thing. It would be so much appreciated. (PS ya Canada..)
  11. hmmm I got a text from a friend saying they didn't do an encore tonight. Is this true?? That's kinda weak...
  12. what! which paper started that 'shiver' playing rumour! obviously not true haha as if it were I would still be convulsing on the ground in pure joy. amaazing show! the confetti was so cool, the pictures I have standing right under it are neat because you can perfectly distinguish the butterflies. The only problem was that the security on the floor is SO tight they won't let you take ANY videos (so any ones I have are short and super stealth). For some reason at other shows Clocks is (while obviously awesome) never really a highpoint but last night it just seemed so perfect!
  13. wicked! You're like 7 rows in front of me haha I was in row 26 last time and it was (from what I remember) pretty sweet visibility. But I'm also 6'2 and am likely the person pissing off people behind me. I'm guessing 29 shouldn't really be too different! I went on directly at 10 on Saturday and tried to see if I could get any closer but got row 49 or something. Tried again and they were sold out. Thank god for the presale! For those wondering about parking, theres a few lots down on Lakeshore around the area where the big Loblaws is. It's a sketchy walk by itself, but after the concerts it's usually a walk filled with drunk Coldplay fans belting out some tracks.
  14. I got mine for the ACC show. I'll pretty much be on a natural Coldplay high until the Visa bill comes in haha though it sounds like Best Buy dropped the ball with regards to seats..? I'm sure you'll all do great on Saturday! don't lose faith
