  1. I was on the floor that night... picked up like several grams of butterflies for no real reason, stuffed them in a book I brought down with me to "preserve" it. You could say I paid top dollar for several grams of colourful paper butterflies :P Now they're all in a see through zip lock bag... and I've still got the piece of one of the balloons from 3 years ago. Sad, I know.
  2. I got quite a bit of the butterfly confetti... I had to hold back a grin when I saw this guy making off with the unpunctured balloons... if only I wasn't flying back on Jetstar :laugh3:
  3. Urgh... My legs and shoulders hurt from the trip...
  4. They had a counter for backpacks the last time they performed there... but you never know lah next week...
  5. Check last.fm's event page - there are people selling their tickets. Facebook, too.
  6. Check the wiki page about the location: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Singapore_Indoor_Stadium, it's about 7000 odd people. I'm flying down Monday morning and leaving Tuesday evening... best I could do with Jetstar. There's Aeroline in 1 Utama (RM180 both ways) and Firstcoach at the KPMG Tower nearby (RM115 both ways). There's also AIREBUS from Midvalley that you could Google.
  7. Few things reading through this thread... - You can bring in your cameras, as long as they're not the professional looking ones. - How about meeting in Orchard Rd?
  8. Wah, that sucks... usually not supposed to hurt anymore by 12 hours... in theory, anyway. Sleep on it, lor.
  9. At least you guys got razor to SHAVE...
  10. http://www.google.com/images?q=hare+lip&sourceid=navclient-ff&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1B3GGGL_en___MY252
  11. You mean upper lip hair... hare lips are a different thing already.
  12. You're welcome. All else fails, there's another one next to Nirwana Maju (perpetually crowded banana leaf place), but I haven't been there myself :laugh3:
  13. Upper lip shouldn't be so expensive one what. I think it's called First Impressions (so much for that on me, haha) along Telawi 3, the same row as Cziplee bookstore but the other end. It's a small place located at the back of another shop. I don't think you can miss the women lining up inside...
  14. The place I went to in Telawi charges RM3 for upper lip.
  15. Okay, so they moved. Too bad. Cos KL Sentral's really convenient. Good luck getting tickets.
  16. Might as well stay home watch the DVD.... Or bring a pair of binoculars :D
  17. Dude, don't forget the $3 transaction fee. So it'll be $91, $161, $191 and $251. There's a SISTIC office at KL Sentral. Based on the seating I was thinking of MAYBE getting the $191 tickets, but after converting it on xe.com, it's RM 456.495!! DANG!! That's FRIKKING EXPENSIVE MAN!
  18. Aiyah, you can always teach primary school kids what. No need to teach in the school one :laugh3:
  19. McD's doesn't pay much. Starbucks I hear pays RM5-6 per hour. I guess one of the faster ways is to have a garage sale... or be tuition teacher. :)
  20. Good luck. I'm still deciding whether it's worth the money, effort and favours I might have to pull accommodation wise.
  21. Sure more expensive than back in 2006, cos of inflation and what not. I haven't seen them this tour, so have to wait till next week to find out lor.
  22. To quote Clark Gable in Gone With the Wind... "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn". Anyway, the biggest headache is usually transport and accomodation... Everything else is up to you.
  23. Yeah you pretty much have to ponteng class. Last time I got a mosh pit ticket for SGD170. If I ever go, I rather be seated :P
  24. Malas... :P
