  1. Hi all
  2. I dug it up recently and yep, those B-sides are the greatest
  3. Malaysia Life in Technicolour ii
  4. Luckily 13th November was a public holiday here (Deepavali or Divali), so yay  Here's my blog post about it - Coldplay Live 2012
  5. Only three cinemas in the whole of Malaysia showing the movie, all in the capital. Luckily one of those cineplexes is the one near me :loveshower: I bought my ticket online, only collecting it tomorrow before the show. But I'm not expecting to be all pretty like some of the ones posted here...
  6. Cool - thank you :)
  7. I like the title track myself - it's what drew me to Aqualung to begin with.
  8. ^ LOL - I took sub-science (Chem, Physics and Accounts) over pure science because I didn't want to do Bio. Later dropped Accounts for SPM, so I only took the school minimum of 8 subjects... :P
  9. You can take me off the list - I got mine from LittleMissMessy today :) Thanks!! :D
  10. Reminds me of when Mogwai went to Batu Caves when they were in KL earlier this year. (It was in an 8TV special)
  11. I'll bump the thread, I didn't know it existed until I read about it in the LRLRL thread, haha. I put away quite a bit into my sling bag (worth the security check coming in) at the Singapore show. Gave a few to the girls I went to the show with, tossed the less than pristine ones, and the rest is in a little baggie in an album. :laugh3: But I have to salute the people that have BAGS of the stuff... kudos! :) I still got pieces of the balloons they release during Yellow. I envy the people that made off with the whole balloons, 'twas a pity I couldn't bring one back across the border, haha...
  12. Can I have one to Malaysia please? The CD came out after I had gone to see them in Singapore. And you don't even need to include the butterflies, I've got them myself. PM me. Thanks! :)
  13. Hi, I was just wondering if anyone with spare CDs could send one my way here in Malaysia? :D Thanks in advance.
  14. The one upstairs in Midvalley is Rock Corner. They're not so Ah-Beng. If you want better informed staff, then the Rock Corner in Bangsar Village is not bad (I reckon - he at least know who Radiohead is :laugh3:), talk to the tall Chinese guy (he used to work at Music Magic in Central Market before it got shut down). Tower Records declared bankruptcy ages ago - took long enough for the stores here to close shop. Even when it was around I never really bought anything - well okay, perhaps the Live 2003 DVD when it first came out. But nothing much since. Victoria - cheap, but you need to know what you're looking for and speak clearly :P
  15. Err... I would never think of going there for music CDs. Ever. You should've gone to either Rock Corner or Victoria Music Station if you're near either one. Victoria's a little cheaper.... I've only got the Klang Valley as a point of reference. But the very best place (IMO) is the Orchard HMV in Singapore - I usually buy a CD when I'm down there. Just saying. I can't blame your sister for sniggering.
  16. I like Moby, but I haven't heard anything new since Hotel...
  17. I've not been a fan of most of the acts they got for this ANYWAY...My music taste is pretty anglophilic and American acts don't really do anything for me ('cept for The Fray and 30 Seconds to Mars, but that's another story). Knowing my luck, Kasabian would probably be the last act or something like that. Maybe I'll go for the heck of it lah. See how I feel that day :P Good luck in getting passes from FLY FM - I have no luck with phone-in contests. I've gotten a couple of CDs from RedFM back in the day via SMS, but that's about it.
  18. ^ was wondering why you plan to take TOEFL if not going to the States...never mind :P
  19. Ohh.. whoops. Yeah, I took it back in 2004... wow, that was a long time ago.... It was my experience taking the exam - nothing about what was in the test :laugh3: But it's nothing you can't BS if you need to lah.. Yeah, it's all computers now. When and where you going? Spring term, or next fall?
  20. Dude, it depends on where in the US you're heading. Better if you get to drive there la of course... I never took SAT (cos I transfer student), but TOEFL's not hard lah - at least if your English is ok - it's long only lah. When I took it a few years ago in KL, it was the 4 hour computer-based test.
  21. who?
  22. KLue and Junk are also giving away passes to MTV World Stage - go check them out! You got to check out your options... OR... if you've got a 019/013 number, you can redeem too. I've got a voucher to redeem on the day, but I'm not sure if I want to go as I'm not a fan of most of acts there. Minimum also Kasabian and their Club Foot song only :P
  23. Australia - internet caps; ARE YOU SHITTING ME?! UK - Pay TV license. But that's just me - I rather go to those places as a tourist and not so much go there for school... US also ok what :P
