I love England, and I wanted them to go as far as possible in this world cup. But I didn't like the way they played, what happened? The first Holland goal was great, but watch two seconds before. The foul that was made to Gargano wasn't called. I'm sure that if it was an uruguayan player who did that he would have got a yellow card, maybe a red.

Y justo despues del tercer gol de Holanda el arbitraje se normalizo. Y esto lo estoy diciendo en frio. Sacando una conclusion, nos robaron. Pero aun asi pudimos darle lucha a los holandeses y por eso estoy orgulloso de mi pais.

The rule of offside says that the intention of the player that is on offside to participate in the play is counted as an offside, even if he doesn't touch the ball. ;)

I didn't say it was a conspiracy. It's just common sense. And on the first minutes of the match, the referee called three offsides and when you look the replay they were clearly not offsides, and the second goal of Holland it was clearly an offside but he didn't call it. If that's not being robbed please explain me what it is.

You are all against Uruguay because you can't stand that a small country from south america is on the semifinals. Yes, we had luck. But we didn't cheat at all. Obviously, it wasn't convenient for FIFA that Uruguay wins the world cup. Giving a lot of money to a country of 3.5 million people?? NO WAY, we better buy the referee and get Uruguay out of our way. Yesterday we were robbed. And I don't understand why everyone can make their opinion here, and we can't. Everytime I make an opinion I get insulted or people make fun of my english. And Gyan had the chance to score that penalty when the match was finishing!! If he scored we were out of the world cup. But he missed!!!! It's not our fault that Gyan doesn't know how to shoot a penalty! Ghana had everything to win the match. Is our fault too that Muslera saved two penalties??? is our fault too that "El Loco" kicked the ball like that and we won the match?? We deserved to win. We didn't eliminate Ghana. They eliminated themselves. Ask Gyan.

You're so funny. What happened with the TWO hands that Luis Fabiano made before scoring that goal? I think THAT'S cheating. European people are so gay when they play football. They can't stand that somebody touches the ball with the hand, but when they do it it's all right. And if you touch them they instantly fall to the ground as if they were shot on their back, and the worst thing is that they stay on the ground for minutes crying and the medics have to go, and two minutes later they are playing as if nothing happened.

Thanks! at last somebody that recognises the effort that we made to be here, we are so proud!! and the best part is, that even though we lost, people went out to the streets as if we had won, and we celebrated and sang, and jumped, we lost with dignity, fighting til the last minute. Congratulations to Holland. I didn't like the referee, there was a penalty that he didn't call and the first minutes of the match that Uruguay attacked many times he called 3 offsides that were not offsides. Anyway, Uruguay is very proud. In the main street of Montevideo there were 100.000 people watching the match on a giant screen, and when the match finished we didn't cry, we didn't go to our homes, we celebrated!! I felt more Uruguayan than ever before! When they arrive on monday this will be such a party!

@Dfit00: That's no reason to keep on making stupid posts that are irrelevant to this thread. What you said was clearly to make fun of him. I created this thread for us to enjoy this huge party that is the world cup. It wasn't meant to be a thread to insult people from other countries, but there were some attitudes that made it go low. And if you want to keep insulting and making fun of people please make a thread just for that, it's very simple really ;) And this is not just for you, I'm saying this to everybody.

Maybe he doesn't really mind answering such a stupid post. we don't have to talk english perfectly. Sorry if we are not fucking genius as you are, you know, english is not our language. At least we try to speak it so we can give our opinions here. I'm sure nobody here talks spanish that good, so fuck off!
