  4. Nottingham murder linked to gaming website row A man has been arrested in Germany over the killing of a website administrator who was found stabbed to death in Nottingham. Matthew Pyke ran an online forum dedicated to the Nintendo game Advanced Wars, where the suspect David Heiss was a regular poster under the alias Eagle the Lightening. It is believed that Heiss flew to the UK to kill Pyke after an altercation on the website. Suspicions were aroused after Heiss sent a Facebook message to Pyke's girlfriend after the murder. "I will pray for you. You must be suffering unbelievable pain. I'm sorry for having caused so much trouble lately. I hope you won't lose all your hope. We will be there for you," wrote Heiss, according to a report in The Times. Heiss is now in custody, and the UK and German police forces are discussing a possible extradition to England for questioning. "Limburg-Weilburg police have arrested a 21-year-old man from the rural district of Limburg on suspicion of murder," reads a statement from the German police force. "He was arrested by officers from the West-Hessen police headquarters in Hunfelden on suspicion that on 19 September he killed a man in Nottingham with a knife," The site is currently closed to the public explains a brief message posted on the homepage by a user named eggy. "Due to recent events I have decided to disable any new registrations to the forums at present. This is only temporary, but I feel it is best. Secondly, guests are now no longer allowed to view the forums. This is because I wish to protect the privacy of our members," says the post. http://www.pcpro.co.uk/news/226929/nottingham-murder-linked-to-gaming-website-row.html
  5. Sir Alex Ferguson has warned his city rivals Manchester City that the new found wealth they have acquired will not guarantee them success. Manchester City were formally taken over by ADUG this week, with the Abu Dhabi based consortium prepared to plough untold sums into the newly crowned 'richest club in the world'. Upon details of the takeover emerging, on transfer deadline day, City were immediately linked with some of the star-names in global football. Last minute deals for Dimitar Berbatov, David Villa and Mario Gomez failed to bear fruit, however, Robinho was added at considerbable cost. Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has issued a caveat to his parochial rivals by stating that even though City are in possession of great wealth, other clubs may not be eager to sell-on their assets. He cited the case of Cristiano Ronaldo, coveted by Real Madrid this summer, but still a Manchester United player due to the club's determination to keep hold of him. He also warned that it would take more than money to guarantee success, and encouraged his former charge Mark Hughes to build a blended unit instead of a star-studded squad. Ferguson told the official Manchester United magazine: "It's all very well having all the money but you can't buy everyone. It was proved in the summer. "We didn't want to sell Ronaldo, other clubs don't want to sell their best players, and there are only so many players you can buy. "Back in the 1950's Sunderland were called 'The Bank of England Team' - and they got relegated. There are no guarantees. "You can buy 11 individuals - you can buy 11 Robinhos but it wouldn't be a team would it? "The art of management is building a team with balance, with certain characteristics that blend with each other - that's the most important thing."
