  1. I hope people are signing up for the San Antonio show! I'll be helping Soha out there :D If you're wondering about whether or not you should do it, go for it! It's a wonderful experience and you meet so many lovely people. It will be my... third(!!!) time doing it!
  2. i'll be at this show--i'm the head oxfam volunteer for this show :]
  3. Hey, nobetter, I can't wait to meet ya! My brother, Dante, and I will be volunteering. I'm so stoked; it's in just a few days!!!
  4. Oh! I can't wait for Tuesday! I get to volunteer then at Houston. Those shirts look really great. I still have mine from the Twisted Logic tour but it's getting a bit faded!
  5. I hope you get chosen, too, Tanya! My brother got selected the first time around and I got an email about being put on the backup list. Within a few days, I was contacted again and now I am also volunteering. It will be my second time helping Oxfam at a Coldplay show. It's such a fun experience; I do hope you get to help out!
  6. Yes! My brother and I will both be volunteering. We're pretty stoked. My brother has never done it before but I helped out with Oxfam volunteering back in 2005. It was lots of fun. You know my name, so I do hope you say hi to me! Hi Brenda!
  7. Woah, I can't believe it's the Tuesday after next. It feels like it was only last week that I bought the tickets but it was actually five months ago!! It's almost here. I already asked for the days off work, my brothers are coming with me, and I think one of my close friends might also come with me. I'll be in section B so maybe I'll see some of my fellow Coldplaying forum members!
  8. Yeah! My brother heard back today as well. I'm totally stoked that he'll be joining us. Glad to hear others are hearing back as well!
  9. i'm driving up there on tuesday morning then after the show i'll be driving back to austin and spending the night there with some friends!
  10. Has anyone heard back for the Houston show? My brother applied and we're really hoping he gets to come with me to the show!
  11. i would be totally down with meeting up with some fellow coldplaying-ers? lol!!!
  12. I'm in Section A, too, nobetter! I can't remember what row though... and I don't feel like getting my tix from their super secret hiding spot! ;) I can't wait for this show! Only 48 more days!!!!
  13. The user speed+of+sound posted a picture of the merchandise stand on the second page of this thread. There are hats in the picture! =)
  14. I'm sure they get washed. I do know that on the official site, Chris mentioned that they had hand-made their own outfits.
  15. The locations of the seats are different at each and every venue. Even if someone told you where they got seats in California, it doesn't mean that you would get those seats at the Houston show. The best you can do now is sign up to volunteer and hope you get chosen!
  16. That would be so rad! I'll be sitting with my younger brother who isn't as into Coldplay as I am but I'm sure he'll enjoy it too. I've been telling some friends about the show and I think they might go too but they won't have seats near me, I'm thinking.
  17. When I saw their Twisted Logic tour, I bought two tshirts only because I knew one of them wouldn't survive. I have this incredible talent of losing everything that's not permamnently attached to my body and clothes are no exception. The cooler of the two got lost but I still have the one with the tour dates. I'm thinking I'll probably do the same this time around because I don't want to be left without a tshirt. If you buy merch, post a picture of you wearing it here!!!!!
  18. 9:03 am Sitting alone at the office, wishing I hadn't forgotten my Count Chocula in the car.
  19. This past weekend, I watched Hancock. Overall, I would have to say the movie was a seven. It had nice humor, great visual effects, and a really neat twist. The only thing that did detract from the experience was the fact that I'm amazingly lame and will get motion sickness amazingly easily. So, yeah, if you're like me and will get sick from simply watching a person on a swingset, this movie will make you slight nauseated. I also watched Forgetting Sarah Marshall and that was so funny! I don't know the name of the actor who played Peter, the main character, but he was hilarious in the pathetic kind of way. The first half of the movie he spends wallowing in a pool of his own making. Mila Kunis---it's not fair how freaking beautiful she is---was also very enjoyable to watch, as was the rest of the cast that included Paul Rudd and Bill Hader. I give it a seven as well!
