Does anyone have the scoop on presales for this show?

Don't have time for a lengthy review, but we had a great time at the concert. When Chris played Postcards From Far Away, I felt really cool for recognizing it when everyone else around me had no clue. I thought for sure they would sing Life in Technicolor II or else have Jay-Z come on stage for a surprise performance of Lost+, but no...it was only the 30 second PFFA that got some play from Prospeckt's March.

Just watched the original Depeche Mode video; I get the "video cover" now. The Hype Williams video is great, but looks like a performance I've seen many times live and on tv. The cover is brilliant.

when you see them in concert and have such an awesome time that the next morning, you get up and the first thing you do is search online for tickets to see them in concert that very night. Oh, and buy a ticket that is 200% marked up and go by yourself to the concert!

98.7 is a radio station in Los Angeles. They referenced the shows at the Forum, it was probably on one of their off days in between LA and San Jose. Someone correct me if I'm wrong!

Roadie #42 just posted a 2-minute clip of the band's performance at lucky Jessica's house. Jessica was the winner of the KROQ contest and won the opportunity to have Coldplay perform in her backyard. Who is the narrator? Is it Roadie #42 or one of the band members?

I'm seriously jealous of everyone who's heard Politik on this tour. My DH and I will be in Europe in September and I've been looking at the tour dates around that time. Otherwise, we'll probably try to make it to a Saturday gig sometime in November.

Great review and assessment, yay_me. Hope everything with the desert fender bender works out alright! I'm inclined to say that exhaustion was playing a factor. The guys had two days off in between the 2nd LA show and San Jose, but one of those "off" days had them doing the Tonight Show and the KROQ house performance, not to mention Chris getting up early for an interview w/ Ryan Seacrest. They've got to be tired. Hopefully these two days in between Vegas and the first Chicago show are truly off days with no other appearances or publicity events scheduled.

Imagine, this is was the day he did the interview, the Jay Leno Show, and the KROQ performance at Jessica's house. And he mentioned during the interview w/ Ryan Seacrest that he'd not had much sleep the prior night.
