  1. Did anyone get tickets for the Cologne show? I was on the Eventim Ticket Site at exactly 9am, was able to select the tickets..then it said "unable to process request"..after refreshing the page the site said "tickets currently not available". Do you guys think some tickets will be released at a later point?
  2. Hallo, weiß jemand, ob das mit 19 Uhr Einlass stimmt? Kommt mir ein wenig spät vor irgendwie?! Hoffen wir mal, dass sich das Wetter noch bessert!
  3. jesus christ! i've been listening to it for 5 or 6 times now and i'm totally in it right now. I cant even describe it. I'm speechless, this is just so great music. They give and give, it's just amazing to see! I dont mind the lost+ and LIJ on it. And postcards is just so ridicolously beautiful even tho it's short. And GoW! It's just perfect, i love the ending! LiT II just blows me away. How was it even possible for them to turn a perfect song into something even more perfect? I'm amazed. Rainy Day is great too! I love to hear them play something different every once in a while. poppyfields too just adds to my great impression of the ep, so does the last song. brings back real good memories from parachutes somehow. all in all this thing is epic. we should be greatful they gave us such a masterpiece less than half a year later than the release of their lp. As I said, they give and give. It's great to be a coldplay fan. without a doubt: they are the greatest band ever.
  4. I was talking to you. Sorry my bad, I mistook the Philippine flag for the Czech flag...they're almost the same :) So, that being the case, it might just be slightly more difficult and pricey for you to get to a Coldplay gig. Anyways, good luck!
  5. i can definitely understand you but if your wish to see them is so strong you should be able to arrange for it to happen. they're probably coming back to europe on the vlv tour, if not cz (prague is likely isnt it?), then for example berlin would be closest to you. if you get a ticket at the regular price you just have to get there, stay one night at a youth hostel and go back the next day. we're talking about 200 or 250 euros. save some money, have a blast and you'll realize it will have been worth the money and hassle. good luck! edit: i just noticed they've already played prague. why didnt you go there? or are you not even from the czech republic? i was just infering cause of the czech flag under your name...
  6. Second Europe leg??? hey everyone! i was just wondering if there's a chance that europe will be played again during this tour? Cause the thing is that i'm trying to decide wether or not to fly out to great britain for a show or just to wait and hope for another show in germany (or somewhere closer and less pricey than the hassle of organising a trip to say london and getting ripped off on ebay for a ticket). So what do you think I should do? I heard that Chris said in Paris that they'll be coming back soon and somewhere else I read that originally they were planning on playing 150 gigs...We're far away from that. So, maybe if the go to latin america in spring they might just come back to europe for an open air tour (Chris said they were trying to book Knebworth). It kind of fits together but there's no official statement yet...So I dunno what to do, I really don't wanna miss my last chance of seeing them live if I decide not to go to Britain and wait... Please, I need some professional Coldplaying advice :) Thanks you guys!
  7. thank you for the great reviews. anyway, i have a question: how did you guys like feel about the fact that the arena was entirely seated? I mean, what was it like being at a seated concert? I have never been to a seated concert and i'm thinking about flying to great britain to see another show ( because that's the closest they're gonna come to germany this tour) and I'm not sure if it's worth it if you guys say that the seating sucked big time...
  8. I was wondering if there was a release of a concert of the Parachutes tour - official or not? I know there's the Norwegian Live EP, but that's just 5 songs...I'm not sure if there's an entire live concert release...Do you guys have any clue? Thanks for your help.
  9. congrats! i would love to see them in a smaller venue! but i'm wondering how you knew they were going to play at hammerstein? i thought the secret location was only going to be disclosed to ticket winners?!
  10. the gigs there usually get an attendance of 300.000 people or even more, dont they?
  11. ok, that really sucked. that commercial rap shit does not go together with coldplay. but knebworth??? thats amazing! i'm so looking forward to the details! the hint about knebworth was worth listening to that horrible jay-z ©rap.
  12. damn it, i won't get out of work before 9 pm...could anyone maybe record this song and put it on rapidshare or something like that? i would really appreciate it! thank you so much
  13. DVD They are certainly going to release a dvd this time. I cannot imagine why they wouldn't. At least, it's going to be broadcasted on tv. They taped the two Chicago shows on July 22nd and 23rd where Chris apparently said that "the two gigs had been recorded with the aim of releasing a new dvd in the future". I read it somewhere, but can't find the original source anymore. This is the only other source I could find. http://www.coldplayzone.it/_articolo.asp?id=1679 We have something to look forward to! Good night everyone!
  14. It's already online on the absolute radio homepage! http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/player/6047/live_in_munich__part_1_.html http://www.absoluteradio.co.uk/player/6048/live_in_munich__part_2_.html
  15. thats what i wanna know too! please someone! I would have done it but i totally forgot about it and i mean i have actually been to that concert but i wanna have a recorded memory of this aboslutely fabolous evening, so please someone. I need this!
  16. damn it, i missed the first 50 minutes of the broadcast. did anyone or does anyone record the whole thing and put up a link? would be much appreciated. thanks a lot you guys.
  17. Even though Lovers in Japan is not my favorite Coldplay song, I still think it was the highlight of the concert. I took a whole bunch of paper butterflies with me :)
  18. Oh my god, it was so amazing! I honestly have never ever been to such an awesome concert! It had everything you'd want. It was really an unforgettable experience and I definitely want to see them again this tour. I'm still speechless. They rocked the house real good. We were in the 2nd row right in the middle. I also have some videos but I don't know how to upload them. I can't believe it's already over :-( By the way, Albert Hammond Jr was not really in good shape tonight and played just about 20 minutes.
  19. @picaflor i'd also like to see them at the airport. I'm guessing they'll arrive at terminal 1, because terminal two is limited to star alliance carriers (lufthansa etc.). most private jets arrive at terminal 1. but i have no idea when they'll arrive, but my guess is on thursday. they have the vienna show tomorrow, so it's likely they come thursday to have an extra day in munich (octoberfest maybe?)... on the website of the airport is this tool where you can check arrivals and departures, but i dont know if private flights show up on that list. update: i just called the airport and i was told that there is an extra terminal for private flights called General Aviation Terminal. I'll call them up tomorrow, they might know something by then.
  20. tickets? hi everyone, i'm looking for 2 arena (=standing) tickets. I know there's a lot on ebay, but i thought i might try it here as well. i can pick up the tickets anywhere in munich. pm me if you have some left. thank you very much! oh and by the way, does anyone know when they will arrive at the airport, what hotel they're staying at or if the go to the octoberfest? i'd really love to drink a beer with them and/or get a photo :-)
  21. Hello everyone! I'm new to this board and first of all want to say hi to everyone! So anyway, I'm thinking of flying to New York to see the show in East Rutherford, NJ and maybe also the one in DC. When I was looking for tickets I noticed that there are no standing tickets?! All the shows in the US, at least the ones on the east coast don't seem to have standing...Am I right about that? I mean, what the heck, sitting at a Coldplay doesn't really sound like a lot of fun. And I don't understand it, the shows in Europe have standing...So, what's the deal with that? Thank you for your answers! Jonathan
