  1. I'm considering the same, i think it will be more special when you listen to it the day of the release. Although i have heard the Studio Brussel broadcast, i think i'm gonna wait to listen to the whole album till the release date
  2. Looks really nice, please contact me if you need any help
  3. The second is illegal, the first is not
  4. Maybe yeah.. i love Swallowed in the sea, only thing i don't like about it is the drums, they seem a little too flat for me. From what i've heard in the previews i really really liked The Hardest Part, it was my immediate favourite. So your theory might be right
  5. I haven't listened to LEAKED songs, they were played on the radio. That's not leaking in my opinion. And i will go to Coldplay.com in half an hour to hear the new album. Why not? They've made it available themselves so they want you to hear it.
  6. I understand them ;) The guy that commented those tracks on Belgian radio (Joost Zweegers of Belgian band Novastar) makes quite nice music himself. I uploaded some tracks for you guys.. to ease the waiting: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=04VLENFC Enjoy! Looks like someone has double standards here  :P
  7. Because nobody has it, it's just bullshit
  8. I think Coldplayfans in general are real musiclovers and this board is a platform for them. Ofcourse you will have the threads about Guy's new haircut or Chris's daughter turning 1 year old. But i think you shouldn't take it all so serious, it's just for entertainment and when it comes to music this is just the thing everybody shares with eachother: they love Coldplay. Besides that the board has a lot of other things to offer, for example the Music section. And yeah it IS a Coldplay forum so what would you expect....
  9. Why is length a good thing, the Beatles barely had songs over 3 minutes but they were very powerful songs. Length isn't necesarily better, unless you measure value for money on a basis of the length of the album or the number of songs instead of the complete package.
  10. I've had the same, now it works but there's no sound
  11. Woops, double post.... now you can enjoy it twice!! :P
  12. Exactly.... welcome!!
  13. Try installing Quicktime, that's what i use for playing those files. You can download it here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/win.html
  14. I don't know wether this is true or not, the only thing i know is that on the European version there will probably be an extra "hidden" track Till Kingdom Come, but i think this will also be on the album in other countries. I'm not totally sure though.
  15. He did, Fix You will be online probly later today ( ? ) and Speed Of Sound is already online.
  16. Status is that wiReZ is probly still enjoying his well deserved rest so the Fix You video is not online yet. But the SOS video and audio files of both Fix You and SOS are available at his website: http://wirez.wxcs.com/
  17. Are you purchasing your tickets through Ticketmaster ?
  18. It's gonna be on the Dutch TOTP too tomorrow, so you can tape it then
  19. As Chris said Speed Of Sound is a bridge between the songs from A Rush Of Blood To The Head and the new material on X & Y. And as so, i think it's perfect. Ofcourse, it does sound a little similar to some stuff on the previous album but maybe they thought other songs would've been too much different from what the fans are used to. They don't want to distance themselves from their fans obviously. I think that's why they picked SOS as the first single.
