I have decided that God does not want this album to leak. I just spoke with my friend, and the story he has told me was so bizarre i could not possibly make it up. So apparently, the electronics guy that was supposed to steal the cd was getting a TV for some woman. The TV was on the top shelf so he brought out some rolling stairs and went up to get it. The TV in question was a 32" plasma screen. It seems there was a water leak after some heavy rain we had 2 days ago, and it pooled on the top shelf. Well, the bottom of the box pretty much decomposed so when the guy pulled the box off the shelf, out came the tv through the bottom. The TV smashed the guy's foot, and then rolled down the steps... an employee who was going to help him bring down the TV had his hand on the railing or something and the tv "bounced" into it and broke some of his fingers.... they are both in the hospital right now, so unless my friend manages to get in the back himself tonight then things are looking grim...

now my feet won't touch the ground.... took me a while to figure that one out lol...

Thanks for the vote of confidence, i seem to be the most hated person on this forum at the moment... that being said, i have the utmost confidence in my friend, but i know nothing about the electronics guy. I wouldn't get my hopes up, because if he doesn't end up taking it everyone will just hate me more. just know its a strong possibility.

just got off the phone with him, he said he isn't allowed in the back but he's friends with someone in electronics who is going to try and steal a copy. Our target closes at 10, so hopefully we will have the album shortly after that time.

just remembered a buddy of mine works night shift at the target, i'm gonna call him and see if he can snag a copy :)

can you link me these pictures? and do the pictures show that it is smaller in size or the sticker on the front cover?

If anyone wants details on the packaging, here is info you can't know without having held it in your hands. The album is a small cardboard sleeve with a slot on the side, it doesn't unfold or anything. The proportions are also different from the viva la vida album, it is smaller all around. (Viva la Vida was oversized compared to standard digipaks) There was a disc and what looked to be a single sheet inside. The back is black and matches the back of viva la vida, with the exception that at the top it says Coldplay -- Prospekt's March EP Life in Technicolor ii -- Postcards from far Away -- etc.... It has dots where i put dashes, similar to viva la vida, and everything is centered There was a plain white sticker on the front, i believe it said "Prospekt's March EP featuring 8 new tracks from Coldplay, including Life in Technicolor ii and Glass of Water"

The target computers refused to sell me Halo 3 a day before its release, they put it up on shelves early at the same store. And try buying a sharpie or some nyquil, it won't even sell it to you without an ID.

thanks assholes. if they had sold it to me you would all be praising me as the second coming of Christ. If anyone wants details on the physical package, I can describe details about it you won't find anywhere except seeing it in person.

I just got back from my local target. They had Prospekt's March for 8.99 out on the shelves... however, when I tried to purchase it a red box came up on their screen saying "do not sell until 11/23/08". So its out in the wild, somebody has to have it already. Anybody here work at a target that can sneak one out?
