Unless there is something more that they're not telling us (which is probably the case), I don't get what the big deal is. Apple and Amazon already have cloud music services (iTunes Match / iTunes and Amazon SoundCloud). Both allow you to store already purchased songs and albums in the 'cloud' and stream or download them to your device or computer. It'll be interesting to see what exact reasoning they have behind their boycott, and to know exactly what they mean by unfair.

I can't wait, I saw them in 2008 at the iZOD center and it was great. Last time they had two shows, so I wouldn't be surprised if they did the same. Especially since a New York show hasn't been announced yet. I'm very excited! :D But we have to wait all the way until August to see them... 8 months away...

Awesome! They are coming to New Jersey and the iZOD center again! :D Same place I saw them on their last tour, yay!! :lol::D The center is in Northern NJ, it's not that far from New York really. Last time they had two shows at the iZOD center on the 26th (Sunday) and 27th (Monday) of October 2008. So I hope it's the same time this year. Last time I went to the Sunday show, it was my first concert and I had a blast. Last time I went alone, but this time my girlfriend is happy to come along with me. :) I can't wait, this'll be awesome!!

I'm thinking of going. I may get a ticket online today, it's $65. Section J I think the site says. But I'm wondering if I decide to go, are cameras allowed? I have a still camera, I doubt they'd even consider letting me bring in my HD video camera... although that would be so awesome. :D haha I'd be happy with the still camera, last time I had to rely on my camera phone. I just don't want to arrive and not be let in because of it, lol. Any thoughts? :) Thanks! Edit: Well I checked out the web page. http://www.hersheyparkstadium.com/floor_plans.php They say, No cameras/audio or video equipment permitted for any shows or concerts. So I guess that's a no? Maybe somebody can call and double-check, although who knows honestly haha

You don't need WinZip! It's a common misconception that you need WinZip to extract .Zip files. Unzipping files is a feature built into Windows XP and Mac OS X. On Windows XP simply right-click the file, select "Extract All..." and you're all set. In Mac OS X just double-click on the file and it will extract. No need to download a trial of WinZip or WinRAR unless you are dealing with daily compressing and decompressing of .zip and .rar files. :)

So it seems that I used 16GB of my bandwidth... :o I think I'm okay, but last night it wasn't even over 1GB. So somebody must of copied the link elsewhere. For now I've deleted the album off of my server so I can reduce any fees I may get hit with. Sorry! :( So please remove my link from the front page to avoid any confusion, thanks.

I'm unsure of what exactly happened, and since Coldplay.com's servers seem to still be sort of dead I guess we don't know for sure yet. All I know is I downloaded the album from the RapidShare link (83mb zip file), the songs were 320kbps and had the album art as a JPG in the unzipped folder. I just re-uploaded the .zip file I received, making no changes to anything. :) I suspect that the Coldplay.com link was changed to 192 kbps later on to save bandwidth, but since I can't download it myself I can't be sure. Comparing the downloads via the file size may help however, that'll be the easiest way to find out which version you ended up with.

I'm looking back at the photos I took at the show I went to and pretending like I'm there again. *sigh* If only I could afford to go again, maybe one day! :lol: I agree, a DVD release would be amazing! It's been 5 years (2003) since their last one. I think there's a good chance of doing another, why not? :) I'm hopeful! :dance:

You're welcome. Hmm this is interesting... :\ Maybe Coldplay changed the link to 192kbps? This may explain some 50MB zip files people downloaded. They may of done this to cut down on the stress of their servers. But I know my version of the album has all of the songs in 320 kbps MP3 format. :)

The whole file should be 83MB. Sometimes when a lot of users try to download files you get an incomplete file, this is your case. Your .zip file is messed up and therefore will not decompress or open. Re-download the file through this link: http://www.stevenmatarazzo.com/misc/CP-LRLRL.zip It should take 10 min or less on a Cable or DSL connection. You should be all set! :) If it says unarchiving then that means it's decompressing (they're just using different words). Look for a folder in the same directory that the .zip file was in. For example on a Mac if you double-click on Coldplay.zip it will unzip in the same directory, probably in a folder called Coldplay. So check wherever the .zip file is located and look for a folder. However I have a feeling since your .zip file was only 50~mb it's corrupt and you'll need to download it again to properly extract it.

Hmm, was the file you downloaded an 83MB zip file? If so it should be the 320 kbps mp3 version. I opened iTunes, clicked "Add to Library" and everything added fine. Also, the import options are ONLY when you import an Audio CD or specifically convert an audio file by right-clicking on it. It does not effect adding music files to you iTunes library. To see the file size select the file and select "Get Info" from the File menu in the Finder. (or press Apple (command) - I ) It should download fine if you're running any modern version of Mac OS X, heck even OS 9, try using Safari as your web browser, or Firefox. When the download is done, open the .ZIP archive file, it'll decompress into 9 MP3 files and one JPG of the album art. Good luck! :)

I wonder what the differences are in the tour book from the 2008 version. I also bought the 2003 tour book recently from their site... too bad when it arrived it was all bent up! :( I emailed the store, but I didn't get a response. :( Hopefully they'll respond, for that price I'd want one in good condition you know?
