VirtualDub is alright for the most...basic of animations. Yours is good, but it seems rather grainy to me. If you want a less grainy, pixelized effect then photo programs are the way to go. But if you just want something entirely basic, then yes, surely it's efficient enough.

You need a program such as Adobe Photoshop or Imageready if you wanted to do something like that. .mov files are usually the best files to use whilst creating animations for icons, banners and such.

True. Not very professional. Heck, just looking at the bloody font just tells me that it isn't a very creditable review, despite the fact it's by NME. Take it with a pinch of salt.

Well, hello there everyone! I've been lurking here for a while and finally decided I should get my arse in gear and join this wonderful community you have here. The name is Jane, eighteen and from jolly ol' England. Or Newcastle to be more precise. Been a Coldplay fan for most of my life and I'm sure you all share my appreciation for the greatest band in the world. :D Couple of random things about myself, I'm a graphic maker and regularly indulge in making tons of Coldplay banners, signatures, icons or whatever, so if you ever need any just let me know. Favourite album is Viva La Vida, although I have a soft spot for them all really. My friend is probably sick of my Coldplay rambling so it's nice to be somewhere where everyone is as equally fanatical. Can't wait for the release of Prospekt's March. Going to be epic.
