lol, i like this song a lot too but... what do you think?

At the end of the song, before Chris sings a line from the chorus for the final time, there is a very noticeable female vocal part. After hearing Lhuna, I suddenly wondered if this vocalist was actually Kylie Minogue, because it sounds a lot like her voice (granted, the only performance of hers I've heard is her part in Lhuna). I haven't heard any information so much as acknowledging that those vocals are there, much less who performed them, and it made sense to me that maybe they asked Kylie to provide a quick vocal part for the song while she was in the studio recording her part for Lhuna. Any word on this? Does it make sense to anybody else?

I'm spanish and I've listened this song like hundreds of times... Why do they say "I spent the night with the queen of Spain" at 1:50? I don't have any problems with that but if any monarchy fan discover that, they could be in trouble:D Lovely song, and funny for me and the spanish coldplayers!

Why is it that this gorgeous song is so under appreciated?! Rainy Day is one of my absolute favourite Coldplay tunes, simply because of how happy it makes me whenever I decide to take my dog for a stroll down the street. Having this musical delight blaring in my ear makes the day so much brighter. So tell me: do you think Rainy Day is absolute trash, or is truly a gem that is underrated? :D

Hi, I was listening to The Spectrum it is an Adult Album Rock station and I always listen for coldplay and several times I heard Rainy Day. Could that be a sign?

This song is so obviously tied to the Beatles song Rain, and I love it! Anyone else agree? Just the way it is mixed and the instrumentation, as well as the overall feel of the song.

I am clearly in love with this song. I have had it on repeat since i heard it. So damn beautiful. David Rossi has new respect for me....I thought the strings in Strawberry Swing and Yes were amazing, but man just too beautiful! "OH RAINY DAY COME ROUND!"

The intro to this song is why it's may favorite! The piano, the hip-hop drum beat, it's just so different! I wonder what the hip-hop beat to Lost! sounded like

Okay, I've listen to the song quite loud and at very precisely O min 9 sec (so the very beginning XD), you could hear a guy saying something... I think it might be Guy (the scottish accent) but I can't understand what he's saying... I hear 'top flip flap' :laugh3: which means NOTHING so I'm wondering if you guys understand it???

Does anybody in the U.S. know if the song is getting any radio station airtime? I was on a shuttle going to class at my university and "Rainy Day" just started playing! Also, was trying to decide if the driver had a copy of Prospekt's March on, but don't think so, lol. I was so shocked. I must have looked like an idiot with my mouth open :D b/c Coldplay never gets any airtime in my town besides VLV lol
