Los Campesinos! Definitely the best band I got the chance to listen to. Too bad Aleks Campesinos! left the band, but the new addition to the band is good. I'm addicted to Death to los Campesinos! Their songs really make me feel somewhat cheerful. I could easily place them in my fav bands list now. Metric I've known them since... 2007? I guess. But as soon as Fantasies came out I totally fell in love. Overall, amazing album, and Emily's voice is just amazing. Bat For Lashes I wanted to see why all the fuzz about her. And indeed, she has a really nice voice, and some nice songs, Pearl's Dream is one of my absolute favorites. Apparatjik I like the cryptic messages the band sends to the fans LOL. I've heard very few songs, and Snow Crystals + Electric Eye are songs that fill my need for electronic-ish songs. I'm waiting for an album. Thom Yorke Yay, yes, even after I've been in love with Radiohead for about 6 years, I never listened to Thom's solo work until the beginning of this year, being a scary thing for me since I didn't know what to expect. Needless to say, I find his solo work almost brilliant. Almost. A little something is missing there. But Atoms For Peace is full of love.
