actually, i won them for free via Coldplay.com :dozey: even more amusing, i'd totally forgotten i'd entered the contest until i got the email saying i'd won

yeah, I was one of them! it was really cool (and LOUD!) being that close to the band while they performed. this was the "TV Edit" of Charlie Brown, which has a shorter intro, shorter bridge, and cuts out the piano outro of the song (as per the cheat sheet behind Will)

hah yes i was there for the interview. they filmed the two segments on the same day. Jimmy changed his shirt/tie combo so it could be edited into tonight's segment. and i was present when they did the worm :laugh3:

agreed. i dont recall getting any new "songs" on Viva-era singles (versions of "Lost" notwithstanding). the only time we got new songs was on Prospekt's March and "The Goldrush" on the LiTii single, which came out a long time after the album.

since it's a single, im doubting we'll see a b-side.

ill remain skeptical until we have official word...but that is one great imitation!

how i interpreted it: Mylo Xyloto - Overture (theme that comes back in numerous songs) Hurts Like Heaven - General spray paint/urban youth plot identified. Also introduces main male character. Paradise - Introduces the female character. Charlie Brown - The two meet through the gang (The Lost Boys) and fall in love Us Against The World - Honeymoon period of the relationship MMIX/Every Teardrop - Excited about the new relationship, possibly them going out on a weekend? This one's still kinda sketchy to me. Major Minus - Trouble in Paradise (ha ha, see what i did there?) UFO - One of them has doubts Princess of China - Breakup Up In Flames - Typical post-breakup blues song A Hopeful Transmission - Always sounded to me like a ringtone, so possibly the dumper calling the dumpee, and the one being hopeful about the call? Don't Let It Break Your Heart - They talk, she cheers him up Up With The Birds - Alls well that ends well.
