  1. Moving from Vancouver - UBC (I love it, oh my god I love it) to possibly Toronto (UofT)
  2. I'm not moving out of high school. I was happy to move after high school. I'm moving after a couple of years of uni in a different city than high school so its totally different. But yeah it's nice to hear about long term relationships working when there's so much saying they don't. Thanks!
  3. Yeah it's gonna be tough. Me and my boyfriend have talked about it though and we're gonna do our best to make it work long distance, but he has way more faith than me. I'm a bit of a pessimist. And yeah, I'm sure that the city could grow on me. Cause it's not a terrible place but I just don't wanna leave where I am right now. It's about a 5 hour flight away.
  4. It's hard right? A part of me is hoping I won't get in just so I don't have to make the choice which will probably be leaving. Are you going?
  5. Yeah. I think it's good to get away after high school. Especially when you're from a small town. Where I'm from basically you get out after high school or you're there your whole life. I got out after high school though and that was completely amazing, and I love it there. Like actually love it, way more than I ever like high school or any of that jazz. The location, friends, boyfriend, campus, just everything is amazing. Now i might have to leave that... so you can see the problem. But yeah definitely don't be one of those high school friends forever people.
  6. The love in pain was just a joke. But yeah, overall I think I need to do whats best for my career and 4 years isn't that long. It's just hard knowing things might not work out... even though I know they would if I stayed.
  7. but what is love? love in pain right? so is it really worth it?
  8. if you needed to go to school there for 4 years to do what you wanted. 4 years isn't that long, but youre leaving behind your family and friends... all to live in a place you kind of hate (although you hav'nt had much of an impression yet) And you're leaving behind your SO, and the relationship.... you want it to last but stats are against you.
  9. Soooo... has anything happened yet?
  10. What she said. Completely agree. Some of you guys are weirdos.

Yeah you have a point but it did work for a lot of people I knew. They were super close with their roommates and seemed to enjoy it. One annoying thing about that though is that if you are super close with your roommates sometimes they don't shutup and you don't have a minute to yourself it feels like... which is frustrating. But that's uni for you.

Haha, how do you know you won't wanna hang out with him outside of the room?
  13. I think you should go over at the beginning of the party and talk to him... Before he's majorly drunk. There has to be something to it. That way you know for sure.
  14. Lol, I do too... I'll hug anything that moves. People say it's cute. But I'm quite embarrassed by it.
  15. I have this thing where I can't study unless I am like watching TV or talking to friends at the same time. Or else my attention span last about 5 or 10 minutes, before I'm totally shot. Music will sometimes do the trick, but usually it's not distracting enough for me to get any work done. I know that makes no sense, but that's how I work. That's also why I usually don't bother going to lecture and when I do... I'm on Facebook after 5 minutes. What's wrong with me?
  16. No, no. That's not what I meant. :)
  17. Just got my last result today. Worst one. FUCK.
  18. Yeah, I understand that. For me personally though, I find I like a lot more modern music than older stuff. It's not like I'm not giving it a chance. That's just what I've found.
  19. The term "old" is to be perceived as you want it to be. I normally don't enjoy outdated music. But... The Smiths forever. No contest.
  20. But what is that person is the most important person in your life... :\ fucking hell.

Forgiven someone for something too easily... Then like a year or years later realized how much it still hurts and that it shouldn't have been that easily forgiven.
