  1. no problem, i was so excited to post all day and finally someone told me out to do it! again, if i had my dslr, i would have had some amazing pics..... i took about 100 and 20 turned out ok and 2 or 3 were pretty cool. i love the yellow one....
  2. have to say i didn't know much about pete yorn, but i liked him. his band members are weird though, looked like they didn't care to be there, oddly enough.
  3. if they add a song with 3 shows in 4 nights, i'd be surprised.... love to hear everything's not lost.....
  4. i was wondering why no one mentioned this in the reviews. it was very odd. during lost if i remember correctly.
  5. i couldn't hate the fact that i couldn't bring in my dslr. these b.s. cameras really piss me off with how bad they take pictures!!! i managed to get a couple half decent, but no real good ones. sucks!!!!!! more coming...
  6. THANK YOU!!!!!!!! :). will have them up very soon.
  7. could someone tell me how to upload pictures I TOOK? for the love of god! thanks!
  8. i figured that, not complaining at all. how about a t-shirt instead? lol - $35 for a t-shirt is insane. i work in retail and we print our own t-shirts. those tees they do cost about $2.50 a piece to print, maybe less due to the quantities. crazy.... i still want one :)
  9. pretty damn funny, but this guy seems to cool for school with is big words. :)
  10. can anyone tell me how to upload pictures? this is driving me nuts! i follow instructions in the FAQ and there is no box that says manage attachments!!! i see how to insert an image but it's just a URL. i have the file on my computer. thanks!
  11. lol, the $20 for parking was the least of my worries with how much i lost on the extra tickets i had! and the weather didn't bother me, the pit was nice and dry! :)
  12. i thought it went very smoothly in atlanta. if you didn't want a cd, you could exit on the sides. i got one cd and it's great. however, i wonder why they just didn't give people a download code or something for itunes or something. could have saved them tons of money and saved a lot of waste, as much as they are into saving the earth and all, you know? at least there's no plastic covers on them or anything. anyway, i didn't run into any problems and was near the middle of the pack exiting, although i was in the pit. we just ran to get out to make sure we got a cd :)
  13. just wanted to warn everyone that i had a VERY hard time selling great covered seats last night to atlanta. it was raining and i had covered seats and couldn't sell them for crap. finally, after an hour, sold two for $200 and one for $40. lost $160 on the tickets due to fees and everything. i am a bit worried as i have 4 extra sets to charlotte in august that i will never make my money back on. crap!
  14. funny how i type with you guys for weeks and was probably 10 feet from all of you and never knew it. should post some pics of yourself. i was front and center, bald guy, grey thermal top on. taking tons of pics and singing at the top of my lungs (it's ok, i can sing in tune, no one heard me : ).
  15. i haven't read many of the reviews yet, but i'll post a brief one now and longer one later. the show was brilliant in my eyes. the set was very similar to the last time in atlanta but the guys were in top notch form and being 10 feet from the stage sure does help. here it goes: getting into the show: drove in the pouring rain for 2 hours and it finally slowed to a drizzle by the time we parked. paid $20 to park and walked through the free parking lot on the way to the show (LOL). turns out we got out really fast after, well worth the $20. then came the chore of selling the tickets. my god, this was a royal pain in the ass. i had three extra tickets, all covered seats, and no one would buy them. i finally found two people who did not have seats and wanted to buy them. the guy wanted to pay me $60 each. face value was $97.50, more like $135 with fees. i told him $75 each and i'd do it. his gf or wife actually asked if i would take $200 total for 2. uh, sure? the guy looked as confused as me but she paid it and i walked away. so then i was about to give away my third after ruining my shoes in the mud and getting all wet from the drizzle. i was walking back in and some guy wanted a lawn ticket. i asked him how much he would pay for a lawn ticket. he said $40, so i sold it to him. $240 after an hour of trying to sell covered seats, IN THE RAIN! i lost $160 on the deal and was pissed, but oh well. i have 4 extra sets of 2 for charlotte. my god, i'm going to get killed on the losses. show: sorry, had to vent about that. we missed the howling bells due to the above issues. pete yorn was very good but i couldn't understand him at all from the pit. the pit was unreal, so close, so NOT crowded. i turned around quite a few times to see just how lucky i was to have those seats. well worth any money paid in my mind. i honestly felt like i was in a club with 200 people watching the show, it was just an amazing experience. the setlist was similar to the past shows, but it didn't bother me too much. glass of water was awesome. i did notice that chris didn't have the extended "arms" on the stage which i really like, but it kept him closer to us :). his voice was really nice too, he was on for sure. i won't do a song by song, but mention a few things i thought were worth it... the balls during yellow were killer. i caught one and flung it up on stage and chris kicked it out into the crowd again, i felt cool :). that guy is my hero... lovers in japan was freaking great. the butterflies above were great once again. i looked up when they came down and spread my arms and felt like i was dreaming. i compare it to andy dufrain on the shawshank redemption when he crawls out the sewer pipe in the rain. great moment, great movie too... :) let's see, what else... georgia on my mind was cool, but so many people do that when they play in atlanta. put swallowed in the sea in it's place..... hardest part on piano was great, i'm a believer was neat also, did some great interaction with the band members which was funny as hell. all the other songs were great as usual. getting tired of the b stage techno songs, but still cool to see them. can't believe they went into the rain on the c stage, pretty crazy. that's about it guys... after the show: we left the pit right when it ended to get on the road for a long drive home. contrary to greeneyes statement, there were two big gates on the sides to exit where you could leave and not wait in line to get the cd. we were out and got a cd each, it's good. some of the things he does on the cd were pretty much exactly the same as he did in the show, which makes me think he doesn't improv too much, just does the same things at each show since they get a good reaction. no big deal, like a comic doing the same acts over and over, you only have so much material. the cd is good though and we made it home safely. work is a drag today but at least i can type this and try to post pictures. as soon as someone tells me how to, i have a few.... turns out this was the long one, nothing brief about it! later.
  16. how do i insert an image that i have saved on my desktop? i have a small review to post with pictures. thanks!
  17. getting ready to make the 2 hour drive right now. it's dreary and raining off and on. last night, it POURED here. i'm guessing the lawn people are going to get soaked. i'm in the PIT so i'm not too worried. however, i have three good seats to sell to anyone who is afraid of getting wet! LOL. cannot wait for the show! hope they add a few songs to the set, but i don't imagine they will. i will lose my mind if they play swallowed in the sea. just love that song....
  18. greg, what time are you getting there? i might text you to see how many people are there? i plan on leaving clemson at 3, eating dinner at green sprout in atlanta (vegetarian asian cuisine, yummy!!!!!!) and then getting there about 6:15 or 6:30.
  19. thank you. as you see, i DON'T want to see the setlist, but i did hear about it, not thrilled....
  20. doesn't help me, i'm seeing them tomorrow! maybe they're working on new stuff today :))))))
  21. well shit, i just couldn't resist reading some posts. WTF? ???? no setlist changes? how boring to play the same damn songs over and over every night. mix it up a little coldplay! this is their biggest fault by a mile. i'm pissed. now at least i can get my disappointment out now and not at the show tomorrow night.
  22. if anyone can, can you check out my post regarding a few questions at the show, mainly how the PIT worked? thank you! http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=57770
