  1. Those are some of my favorite too! :D And that one part I put in bold...you hear that everyone...they liked being chased.:wink3: Let's do it.
  2. Around this time 1 year ago I was getting home from the best experience of my life...i couldn't believe how amazing it had been and how it had been even better that the first experience(when that one had been the best day of life as well). July 18th, 2009 is my latest Coldplay concert, and today marks the 1yr mark since it happened! It's a sad but warm feeling remembering it all, and I can't wait until my next opportunity to see Coldplay live comes around!
  3. Oh I have gone swimming but not in the ocean. :P I've gone to the beach this summer as well but I don't get in the water cause it kind of scares me/ kind of grosses me out. But I might when I go this Sunday cause it looks like a really warm one. :) Wow! And here I was thinking my weather was crazy because we might have a few raindrops dropping in. Your weather sounds frightening actually...twisters especially. :P Not to be too much off topic: RandomColdplayThought: I really liked Matt McGinn's book. It had interesting things about Coldplay and the life of a roadie. :D
  4. Me too! I mean I love Summer but 100+ weather on a daily basis can get to be a little too hot for me. Although there's supposed to be some rain but that feels nasty cause it's still hot and so then it's very humid. :P
  5. Awww...why do you say that? I'm sure they were great! :D
  6. I received my book yesterday and finished reading it earlier today, and I loved it! There were definitely some very funny parts. It also had some parts that weren't so interesting but nevertheless kept me reading. I loved how he just wrote how he would speak and didn't make it all proper. The part where Guy and Chris argue during their rehearsal had me all tense at first but then got me laughing. I never knew Guy and Chris were the fighting type towards each other. :P I was also outraged when some American guy threw a cd at Chris. But loved how Chris, Will, Jonny, and Guy kept going and didn't give in. It really makes me proud to be a fan of Coldplay and see that they didn't let things like that get in their way. It was nice to see a view of the band from an insider rather than just on the outside. You also get a good sense of what exactly a roadie does, and how tedious the job can be. Two thumbs up to Matt McGinn and all the other roadies and staff who make every concert possible! Without them, a proper show couldn't go on. :D
  7. I sent mine a long time ago, I just never posted them, but here they are. :)
  8. Cause he hides a gun under it for protection. ;) What anniversary year did Parachutes just celebrate? :)
  9. You could visit the place where Coldplay played their first show... I'm not sure if this is it, but on wikicoldplay that's the earliest concert they have listed...Laurel Tree, Camden, London, England.
  10. ^All the time! :D I love that feeling.
  11. ^I've listenend to it today too twice to celebrate. I'll have a few more listens later on again probably. :D I love Parachutes! Thank You Coldplay for such an amazing album!"From the moment I wake to the moment I sleep I'll be there by your side..." Wish I had heard it ten years ago so I could have enjoyed it longer! :P
  12. The same goes for me! Happy Birthday Parachutes! Except I wasn't listening to nsync or backstreet boys. I was listening too
  13. Congratulations, I hope you have a nice anniversary! :D I discovered them with that song too! Mine was 2 year mark was on the 1st of this month. :P
  14. If they really want to do that I guess thats fine, just as long as they don't hurt or disrupt others or thier property. :P
  15. About an hour and half I was on my way home and Yellow came on the radio in the car and I was like,"Aww...Yellow!" Then I looked up and saw that there was a semi-truck in front of me that said "YELLOW" in the back!:stunned: :P I thought it was cool, and very coincidential. :D
  16. Yeah that's ridiculous. They won they should be happy and celebrate but not like that.
  17. I can't really be a traitor if I never went for the Lakers in the first place...I think that's how it works. Anyways...congrats to the Lakers! :) I went for Boston, but obviously Lakers wanted it more. And that's fine it was a good close game.
  18. Yup, I'm a Boston fan all around Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots... You're not the only one to question why I go for them...but I've met a couple of Celtics fan over here...very minimal but they're there. :P
  19. @jelynch2 ...she was the same as you. ;) As for me I discovered them watching the MTV Movie Awards of '08 when they were performing Viva La Vida live for the first time. I fell in love and it goes on from there to my addiction of Coldplay...:P I had heard them before that though, apparently my sister had AROBTTH and she used to play it around the house I just never noticed the music enough to like it. :shame:
  20. It does but not every song performed is included.
  21. Yeah Go Boston Celtics!!! Doesn't look so good right now since their down 20pts. :( But c'mon Celtics!!
  22. ^Thanks for the answer. :) Wow, so did the songs get leaked afterwards then? Poor Guy...he must have gotten some yells for that one. :P
