  1. I think now that the tour has finally ended, there will be a very good possibility of them releasing a live DVD. Even oracle said their wouldn't be a live CD for sale, but did NOT say that there would not be a DVD. It would be a shame if they use that awesome footage for just an interview. The X&Y clip is from Toronto, March 2006, and you can get find the whole show on Torrent if you didn't get it back then.

Anyone from here going to one of the shows in NY or LA? I'm still holding out for a canadian date since they haven't actually said they will not be coming to Canada.

I just got FOTM and Analogue this week in the mail from Amazon.ca I love the tracks Foot of the Mountain, What there is, Shadowside, Analogue, Birthright, Cosy Prisons. All of the songs are good. I still have some catching up to do and buy the Lifelines and MinorEarthMajorSky CD's. Here in Canada, I didn't realize those recordings even existed until I was checking out youtube sometime last year. The only a-ha song ever played on the radio is Take on me. I allready had the first 5 albums and have the first 3 albums in VINYL. They are coming next march to Canada, but I will be choaked it they only come to Toronto.
  6. I'm pretty sure this is all BS. Gwen is too busy with all her cooking/health/clothing/charity functions... It would be ok to have projects in between CD's. I think Coldplay and A-ha should form a supergroup!!!! A-HA FANS AND COLDPLAYERS SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Congratulations Caroline!!!!!! You are very lucky. Please post lots of pictures.:)
  8. another cute animated video with a happy ending is Alan Parson's Project - "Don't Answer Me"(1980's) [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALC7kt6iUHY]YouTube - Alan Parsons Project - Don't Answer Me[/ame]
  9. Very cute video. I thought the part where Chris was sneaking up on the squirrel was funny. Nice ending. I thought that might have been Will, Jonny, and Guy at the end, too. And who is that walking the dog?
  10. strawberries and butterflies together!!!!!!

Guy contributed to some of the new album artwork!!!!!
  13. Nice coverage!!!! Yeay, Mags was there!!! Someone should keep the Chocolate and Jonny away from Chris until he takes his sunglasses and hoodie off:)
  14. Congrats Malcolm on the umbrella and the upgrade. I didn't see Chris giving it away - I must have been looking away - a lot of things happened to quickly. When I was driving out of the parkade, I drove right by Coldplay's bio-diesel trucks. They had their lights on/engines warming up. I wanted to stop and take a picture, but didn't have room to pull over. The big white limo parked outside the venue - I saw it driving beside me on Quebec street, and then I noticed it again beside me on #1 after PortMannBridge, then it pulled of at the 176(?) US border exit. Do they ride in limos or less obvious vehicles? My ears and throat hurt now.
  15. OMG. BEST CONCERT EVER!!!!! I went by myself last night, but I didn't let that stop me from having a lot of fun. I was on the floor, row 11, seat 8 - right at the corner of the Jonny ramp. So every time Chris or Jonny walked down the ramp, I was able to just step out a bit to take a photo. A few times however, I was tripping over when other people in my row wanted to get to the stage. I was the tall woman in the blue t-shirt. This time, I arrived just as Howling bells were starting. They did a good job with the energy, considering there were still a lot of empty seats at this point. Then snow patrol - awesome - the guitarist kept smiling at the audience. The people arriving next to me said they just bought their tickets that morning on ticket master. I was having problems with my camera, but got a few good shots. The security guard near me was very strict about not letting people take videos. I think it was during VivaLaVida when I was within a few feet of Chris:wink3:. When yellow came on, I was having more fun playing with the balloons than watching the band. When LIT II came on, It was like heaven having all of those butterflies fall on me:) But I think my favourite parts where when Chris was at the piano. I saw one person getting a set list, so I immediately went over and asked for one too. It is from Winnepeg. What a truly amazing night - set list, butterflies, CD, program, Oxfam flyer, inches away from Chris and Jonny, balloon popping near me - and to make it a perfect night, got home quickly over the new Golden Ears Bridge!!:P I will post pics later.
  16. On Saturday, I was in section 310 row 10. I was very pleased with the awesome view I had. It was amazing looking down at the floating balloons and confetti and the crowd. My section was near the back, so had a pretty good view when they sang Green Eyes/DeathwillNeverConquer/ImABeliever. Chris mentioned the Canucks. My hubby and I got there in time to watch SnowPatrol. They were very good. I forgot how loud the music gets at a concert (I must be getting old). When blue danube came on, I started to clap, and the people around me thought I was nuts, but I had the last laugh when most of the audience started clapping. Our section was standing the entire time. Loved the dancing roadie. The show was amazing and I got a few good photos and vids which I will post later.:) I had no problem getting a CD - It was pretty calm on the top floor.
  17. I don't have twitter on my phone, but I will try to take some pictures. So excited
