I think they can do these festivals with only a couple of new songs, it's not the start of the LP5 tour, at least that's what I'm thinking, unless I'm wrong :\

Agree, I just can't imagine them not playing something new to try it out in a concert setting like the festivals, I'm sure they would be itching to try a few out:thinking: I hope all that's going enjoy themselves and soak it all up:)

I'm not sure I follow you:thinking: They certainly aren't gonna play the whole new album for their setlist, that's why I thought it would only be a debut of 1 or 2 new songs..IF the album has yet to be released.:\

I'm torn with new stuff being played for the first time live vs. being released first. Whenever I have gone to any live show to see a band, and they come on and say "This is alittle song off our new album", I tend not to really pay too much attention to it, but if I had heard it, pre concert, I recognize it and enjoy it more. This festival outlook will most likely be older songs with 1 or 2 new thrown in. I also tend to agree with the poster about Glasto and LP2, it was a different time, they played their new stuff for the lack of older material, and this time, they have a much bigger catalog of material.

Spies was a special song................ Parachutes the album, was just a great raw type album for me, they were so young and full of the music you could just feel it oozing out with the emotions on every song.

I totally agree about X&Y elevating Coldplay Live!!! This was a cool thread!!!:)

Being an American also, I find X&Y one of my favorites as well. I believe AROBTTH became a much bigger album over here, because of Clocks and The Scientist, meaning there were more "Radio" hit's with that album then X&Y where I hardly heard any songs except Speed of Sound on the radio. I have been a fan since Parachutes, and I find every album to be so very different giving me as a fan, a great fantasy ride thru each album, picturing a certain scenario with each song. Viva in America"The Album" really got lost with most of the songs, due to Viva La Vida"The Song" being a huge hit here, with so much radio play, I feel the world missed out on some really cool songs, due to the radio stations just playing Viva.

Will drumming raises his eyebrow and thinks "Oh No", he checking to see when we're gonna release" Guy looks towards the ceiling jammin on the bass ignoring Miles............ Jonny looks very worried, and looks to Chris for answers....... Chris banging and humping his piano, looks up and say's...... "Um, hey Miles.... Um, Uh, well ya know, we keep changing things up a bit, Um, Uh, oh, well ya see, Jonny thinks it will be Autumn.... Yeah, Autumn..... Jonny glares at Chris, and Chris gives a wink........:lol: I guess we will know sometime, we just gotta be patient:D
