What happend to him? I heard he was working on a new album, but that was about 3 years ago.

Looks like the usual crap fest is scheduled from what I see. I think I'll go outside instead.

I was just wondering if anyone knows what happend to Timberland collaborating with Coldplay? I remember hearing about it when they first started recording. Maybe this will still eventually happen? Either way, I think Timberland needs Coldplay a lot more than Coldplay would need Timberland.

I think it will sell a lot of copies. Coldplay appeals to so many people of different ages and cultures. As the band has said getting any bigger is not their goal. They may not promote this album as extensively as they promoted X&Y. No matter what, I see it selling at least 500,000 the first week.

I don't think there will be another album this year. Theyll probably just announce a world tour in the third week of may. As for Coldplay recording songs, I think theyll just be B-sides. The theme so far with this release is giving things for free. We have the free songs, the free concerts. I think there will be more songs given away this summer. Probably B-sides. Afterall most people download the B-sides anyway.

Its not as bad as the sum 41 scientist rip off, but what pop band doesnt try to sound like coldplay?

How good of a songwriter and a friend do you have to be to give away a song like that? It kind of reminds me of when the Beatles gave the Rolling Stones a song when they were starting off. Not to say that Embrace and Coldplay are like those bands, but still seems like a similar situation.

I find myself only really liking Snow Patrol when they are trying to sound like Coldplay. I think that without Coldplay many of us would not know who Snow Patrol is. At the same time this could be said for a lot of bands. Who knows if we would know who Coldplay are without Radiohead. I think Chris said one time that Coldplay is just diet Radiohead. If this is true Snow Patrol is definately diet Coldplay.

Im just throwing this out there, but could this V theme have to do with a possible V Festival appearance?
