I don't think anhy of their songs are 'poppish'. Pop is generally the songs with absolutely rubbish meaning lyrics. And I don't think the music is poppy either. The instruments are very different to what is usually used on pop songs, and are also different to the usual Cildplay songs (pre Viva that is) It is still great music and the same incredible band.

I just caught the end of Glass of Water on one of the subscription television music channels called [V]2!! It was a live performance video clip. I'm sure it must be the single, except it hasn't been said anywhere that it was going to be released which is what i'm confused by.

You could use a phrase that turns up in a Coldplay song but isn't actually a title. A lot of bands do that, but I currently can't think of any examples of them. Anyway, maybe something like Roman Cavalry, or Soldier On, Beautiful World or Single Star. god i'm very sorry these are such bad ideas, but I hope you get what I mean :P.

Thye're definitely not overrated, they the best and I wish everyone knew it. Maybe at the time of Yellow they started to be overrated just for that song, but they proved that they were worth all the hype, and now they are are just music genius.

Mrs. Chris Martin I love your signature. Some of my all time favourite song lyrics/quotes there. I crack u pat any refernce to The Nappies no matter how many times I hear it. And that friggin moron who wrote that article must be on something pretty strong to not say that. Who does he think he's kidding besides himself? But if he refuses to embrace Coldplay its his loss. Hes missing out on the best bands (imo). And I think the dancing can be very effective in songs like Lost!, but for a few others, toning it down a little bit might be a good idea. But he sure puts on a good show.
