  1. Yeah I do know where he lives, wish I'd arranged this earlier cause I'd have gotten something signed, like for the board or something. But I only met his dad on Friday and chatted to him right at Jonnys, turns out they are staying until his birthday abs had lots of luggage they were unloading from the car. Seriously, I need ideas if what to give him, anyone who has a great idea that I use, I'll do my best to get you an autograph! ;)
  2. Haha :smug: And I officially move down on the 25th of August now, so, meeting you in London, sounds perfect!!! yay :D ... what are you coming back for anyway?
  3. Don't apologise, its cool "Lundhy" (just so you know it's me lol) And I could probably not be a lazy-arse and go read somewhere that you probably wrote it already, but how was London?!?!?! ....
  4. I told you that? Like really?! ... how strange, I can't remember telling you that at all.... did you not just read it on FB in a comment or something Anna?
  5. Thanks again everyone, one more line from Chris ..."it's never good to get on the wrong side of Kasabian fans Craig, whatever happens, stay on that side of the fence!"...
  6. Nope, we just sorted the name ofc, so I'm gonna set up the pages like myspace asap, for Ian, I did buy the domain names, and I've also got my Facebook page up and running, thanks to those who have joined, and also invite your friends if you like :) Its wierd to have this Coldplay link, I don't wanna try and promote my band just through the Coldplay connection ofc, but I can't help but mention it somewhere, especially as I feel like shouting it from the rooftops right now! lol
  7. Yeh, I have thought this all through already haha :D
  8. Thanks so much, if I can't get inspired by what he said, then I don't deserve any success tbh :)
  9. The Calligraphers <--- Check us out, nothing much there yet lol, but add us, you won't regret it!
  10. Thank you to the people who have replied btw. Like I said I can't give any details about how/where/why it happened, but its not what anyone has suggested or guessed on here anyway! I can say what happened, but only briefly though. I'll just tell some of my conversation with Chris and Phil, which was around 20-25 minutes long! After introductions, we spoke about various things, firstly about how he and coldplay are my inspiration, and he is a personal hero of mine. At which point I said " I'm a bit nervous, You just dunno how it feels to meet your heroes" ... then I backtracked thinking that he probably has met them! He went on to say "I have met some of them, but not all, and not Bob Dylan, he is the one I've always wanted to meet but it has never happened" I went on to say that I'm trying to find the way of becoming successful in the music industry, and how I believe the Coldplay story is a pretty good one to follow-suit from. My friend then commented "Yeh, we just need our own Chris Martin!" to which he replied "What? Why the hell would you want a cock like Chris Martin in your band?!" ... I burst with laughter, he is so charming and funny. Next we spoke about our name for the band once we are ready to get going finally. He asked us what our name was actually gonna be, and I said "We have a couple of names to consider, firstly The Calligraphers, but I'm not certain of how good that is", he replied "that is a fucking great name, seriously, that name is fantastic!" then Phil said "Yeh, I kinda can't believe no other bands have thought of that as a name before, its really good"... I said "Oh well I think I should go with that then right?" Chris asked "What was the other one you had?" And I said "Audiomnik"... Chris just said it as plain as day "That is shit" I was like "Really? thanks haha" then he said "Yeh that is shit, it sounds like a couple of tw-ats with a drum machine. Some crap you would hear at 3am and think what a piece of shit" ... I agreed, and said "so you think I should go with The Calligraphers then right?" he looked at Phil, and smiled, and replied "You have got to go with that, its such a great name, and people will be interested in it, they will wonder what it is you play, and how you sound, and Coldplay fans will like it thats for sure!" ...(no comment haha) --- edit, go see The Calligraphers So, from now on, that is the name for this band/project which will always be my main focus whilst trying to achieve anything. He said on LP5 that he got wrong for saying it would be out for Christmas and could not gaurantee it, but he was pretty confident :D We talked about a number of other things, and it was the greatest 20 minutes I've ever had, I want to share as much as I possibly can, without revealing some things I have personally promised not to reveal. I have read this over and over, and it does not say anything too important lol, thanks for the people who are genuinely interested, and I'm delighted to share this with you :)
  11. I'm not gonna go into detail on here about this, and I'm afraid that is not up for negotiation. I really have my reasons, and if any of you were in the same situation, I guarantee you would do the same. Anyway, to put it plain and simple, yesterday, I met the following people: Matt McGinn, Miller/R#42, Guy Berryman, Will Champion, Jonny Buckland, Phil Harvey, and Chris Martin... I chatted to them at length, and to Phil and Chris for at least 20 minutes, it was the single greatest day of my life, and it has been changed forever. I have been inspired by Chris's advice, his words, and even just by how stupidly nice the guy was! This is what I have to show from it, and I'm just thrilled with it!
  12. Oh wow!!! It worked :D It transcoded, then burned, it al took about 80 minutes, for the whole show! I jut used the default menu settings, wanted to make sure itwould work thats all ;) But, it worked! Yay! So, now to add some cool things, like interviews, the south bank show perhaps, some captioning for the song titles, a coldplaying message perhaps, lol, this is gonna be good :) I'll get the quality as good as possible, though it aint bad now, and this is on a 38" screen, so if I get it good, and anyone would like a copy, then let me know :) Thank you Sue, you have been a great help :)
  13. I have the free version of NERO 10 Sue, I am still not100% sure on how to do it, can it turn MP4 into DVD's? The file I have is MP4/MPEG4 and its really good quality, I opened it up with NERO vision, and I'm gonna try and burn it now, just a basic one to see if it works, if it does I'll add menus and other thigs in due course, but it has been working for a while now, and it says its burning, but the disc drive normally sounds like a jet engine! It is far too quiet right now to be actually burning, could be trascoding as it says that above it... I'm rubbish with computers! And with NERO, I needn't convert to .vob right? :)
  14. I want to make a DVD of a Coldplay show, its the Toronto one from 2006 ofc. How could I make the download, which is MP4 or MPEG-4 (are they the same???), and make a DVD from it? What is the format that is used for most DVD's to work on a "normal" DVD player of Region 2? And are there any software(s), (the freer the better!) which I can use to convert it to the correct format, and any software(s) to make a DVD, like with a nice custom Menu and effects like text etc? I would really really appreciate any help on this because I'm always behind with computer stuff :( ...
  15. Oh wow, I so wish I was on here back then! Had they done this for any of the other tours? Or anything similar? And yes! ^^^ I so hope they do this sort of thing again next year :D

I've had a handful of other Coldplay dreams to this, including a private one on one piano and songwriting tutorial with Chris  and also me and Guy got married!!! And believe me, I'm straight, but... well... when it comes to Chris and Guy... :\ But this one, well this was just nuts!... Ok... I'm in Brazil (never been in my life, dunno what the hell I'm doing there!), watching TV (why not?), then up comes this huge newsflash (conveniently in English), it says the Police are searching the whole country for the "On-the-run, Coldplay"!!! :stunned: I and my friend Trevor, (who isnt even a Coldplay fan) run straight outside to the street in the crazy belief that Brazil is like some tiny little village, and they might happen to be on the run, on our street! We find a police station and we go inside and are talking to this lovely female detective with the Brazilian police, she says that the whole force are on the case, and are trying to find Coldplay! - They are apparently touring the pubs and bars of Brazil doing concerts to like 10's of people only :o (still dunno where the crime in all this is haha!) Anyway, me and my friend are at the other side of the room trying to listen to phone conversations from the police, and I look to the detective again, and she is looking out of her window and her mouth is like wide open, she cannot believe what she is seeing! I scurry over to her, and look in the same direction as she is looking, OMFG Its them! :shocked2: They are playing in the bar across the road, they are all Viva'd up in the outfits, and Chris is on the wooden floor in this bar jumping around, while the rest are playing on the tiny stage thing, all amp'd up and plugged in too! - There is only like 9 people watching them in this bar too! So, I run to the door and across the street, and they are gone :( !!! I look at the road on the other side of the bar, and they are walking down the street still playing, and a crowd is gathering, I run down the street and then hudreds of policia (?) come racing past me and they surround the boys  They arrest them and throw them in a police van... and... thats it... I wake up :veryangry2: I almost cried at how crap that dream finished off :(
  17. And Anna, I probably should put my name on my signature right? And we will so have to chat sometime on FB, I don't think we ever have haha ;)
  18. I'm assuming nothing, (but the disguise of a criminal master-mind) but I'm not bidding anyway :) There is no way that this person, unless they are in the know and a big Coldplay fan, would have known that this is very valuable, and therefore not played it though! Maybe they have lied about that bit, but we cannot really find out that its real cos of the image given especially! In all honesty, I believe that its far too easy to make a fake of this cd, and you just have to place your trust in the goodness of others, unfortunatly that stance can often cost you a fortune :( Could a buyer of such an item get their money back if they are sold a fake one?
  19. @Anna (your not Anna Lundh are you? cos I have sum1 by that name added on facebook I think :s ) lol You posted that at :42 past, hmmm... I'm gonna take that as a sign I should just do it! :laugh3: At least that way, if I'm caught, I'll just plead insanity, and with that explanation about how 42 is my reason for doing it, no jail for meeee :D I'm Craig btw :)
  20. I wasn't on the boards when the viva era kicked off unfortunatly :( But I'm really curious to find out the following: . 1. The free shows, Brixton Academy London, somewhere in Barcelona and also the Madison square one, how did people get tickets for those? :\ 2. The pre-tour-warmup-thing, the show on 13th June, how did people get tix for that!?!? 3. The secret show in Paris, and also the BBC show, how on earth do people hear about those types of show? Is it openly available info, on coldplay.com, or is it known only to us coldplayers??? Thank you, I'm just soooo curious about this stuff :laugh3:
  21. Oh that has to be Chris, even with the huge blur, it still looks like him ;) And I'm gonna say it will fetch £1800, shame, the person selling it lives literally 15 minutes drive from me! :( ... believe me when I say I've given burglary a huge consideration... still mulling it over tbh :sneaky:
  22. Doritji, I'm confused about the Don't Panic on your site, the 5th Don't Panic down the list, says its an Australian one, but the recordings are in Denmark, and I own this with the stated tracklisting, but its not Australian at all, its all in Danish :s And maybe we could make an arrangement lol, what else have you got a spare of btw? I'm looking to build my collection, pm me with anything else. Oh, and your site, its absolutely fantastic, thanks on behalf of us all :D
  23. I really want that What If single, like REALLY want it :( Wonder if he'll send to UK? Mince spies is gonna finish outta my price range, and safety started out of it haha! btw... How rare is a Danish Live version of Don't Panic? I have one, it has 3 other tracks live from Vega in Denmark, and its all in Danish! Or what about Trouble-Norweigian live e.p??? (I know these are probably not rare it all :( )
