  1. So cool! 1) Coldplay - Violet Hill. 2) The Killers - All those things that I've done. 3) U2 - I'll go crazy if I don't go crazy tonight.
  2. I really really really wanna go, If people from england decide to go, then let me know. :D
  3. Well i never! Why must people make such horrible remarks about others? I met Mark at wembley on saturday, and i have not 1 single bad thing to say about him! Infact quite the opposite, he was really helpful and thoughtful for everyone when quizzing the security people on the rules, all to help out the other coldplayers, and freinds. Iwas with him a while, and he introduced me to a coupple of people including Ian, who im sure got on fine with mark too! Anyway, i know you must stand your ground mark, but maybe its the responses that fuel the flames with this guy, and a slight handful of others who are just unpleasent people, nevertheless. Keep up the great work Mark, and i hope to meet you again at a show, in a couple of years time! :)
  4. Ian, the lady i spoke to has said not to take what the ticket companies say, as gospel. She said in no uncertain terms that the box office will be open at 11am, precisely.
  5. Hello everyone!!! Its Craig, and I have news which should comfort and calm everybody who is panicking like hell, about the ticket situation! Following my chat with the afforementioned "Mr Martin Smithson" yesterday, I posted the information I was told immediately. This has seemingly changed since yesterday, which I am both tottally peed off about, and also heavenly relieved. The guy i spoke to yesterday was not available, and i was passed around from 3 different lackies, until i got a very nice lady, by the name of Leanne. Now I explained to her that i was calling on behalf of many people attending the shows, and some of whome are coming from abroad to collect their tickets from the box office. When I told her about Mr Smithsons comments from yesterday, and explained my concerns, she said to me, "You're Joking Right??!!!" To which I replied NO, and stated how worried i was, anyway she said that he has given me improper information, and that at a full staff meeting this morning, everyone was informed of the exact precedures that will be followe for the coldplay shows. So here it goes: There are only two ramps to queue at for anyone with GA tickets. Thes are the North-East and North-West ramps. She told me that they have been made aware of concerns from fans collecting from the box office, and said that they "NOW WILL DEFINATELY ALLOW ANYONE WHO IS IN POSSESION OF A GENERAL ADMISSION TICKET, TO ENTER AT ANY OF THE GATES FOR THE SHOW." Now she went on to say that all of the tickets printed for GA goers, were split into Gates Allocated, so there should be roughly the same amount of people in the two queues/ramps. This is becuase 50% of the GA people will be at H & J, which is to queue at the North-West ramp, and 25% have got B & C, and M & N each, therefore 25% x2 =50%, and these will queue at the North-East ramp, thus a fair split. When you get your tickets from the box office, go back and join youre freinds/ fellow coldplayers, in the queue, and there will be no problem at all! Also, the tickets are read from a barcode scanner at each turnstile, therfore Mr Smithsons comment of people being turned away is nonsense because its done by machine, and they are now programmed to let everyone who is GA, through any gate! (but this is a new developement from a staff briefing this morning, so it might not be Smithies fault, but maybe im being kind?). So to some up, Anyone with H&J tix, are meant to queue at North-West ramp, and anyone with B&C or M&N are meant to queue at the North-East ramp. But it doesnt really matter. because you WILL be let in at either!! Also an added bit, is that the Box Office opening time now is confirmed as, 11:00am. Ok, so thats it I think, i spent a lot of time (and money, im dreading my phone bill :( ) finding this out today, but im certain it is worth it, and i hope that everyone is a lot better about stuff now, and can start looking forward to it again. Over and out :D

  7. Hello, its Craig, Now, I cannot apologise enough for both my silence, and all of the confusion. The gentleman on the phone to me said that for the GA people, there will be two queues. Now, we seem to only know of people who have tickets for H&J M&N + B&C. But there may be a fourth gate aka F&G. Just because none of the colplayers in attendance dont have tickets for this gate, doesnt meen that it doesnt exist. This said it is extremely strange that no-one would have tickets for that gate considering the amount of people going, (strange but not impossible). And i will contact the guy again tomorrow to find out just whether there is a 4th gate, and also which queues exactly everyone needs to be in for each gate. But until then everyone thats all i have, but dont worry too much about it people, and again i apologise for not getting back very quick, and also confusing everyone. Thanks I promise i will call him tomorrow, and put an end to the speculation, but when i said that people in the wrong queues wont be let in, i meant it. That is a direct quote from the guy, and i didnt ask him about the box office people, but again i will tomorrow.

  9. WooHoo, ive just got my tix!!!! Im thrilled with them, they are worth the money without the show i believe! But yes, 2 x GA gates H or J. Could somebody be kind enough to update that onto the list??
  10. Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me? I and my band want soo badly to learn how to play Chinese Sleep Chant. We have read and tried the tabs that are widely posted on the internet, and have given it a go a coupple of times. Our problem lies with exactley the difference from lead guitar (i.e Johnny) to Rythem (i.e Chris). Could someone please point out what they are both playing and when, and also what they are playing separetly and together too? Also is there anything particular else i should know, like different tuning or specific settings on the amps?
  11. Hey guys, well this could be amazing. Ive just ordered 100 Yellow Glowsticks! I will hand them all out on the 19th show, to other coldplayers and to anyone else near me in the queue, so the front will definately be "all yellow"!! Just thought i'dshare that they cost me just £6.15 including postage, from ebay. The seller has a lot left too!
  12. Just thought I'd mention this, but I just purchased 100 yellow glowsticks, WooHooo. They were from ebay, and cost only £6 including postage!! I thought I'd mention it but ebay is incredibly cheap, when compared to indepent sites anyhow. And I for one will be handing lots of mine out, be it to either fellow coldplayers or just to those around me in the queue.
  13. I am going to Manchester Victoria from "Travelodge Manchester Central". Im still not totally sure how far it is from the hotel to victoria, im going to the elbow concert at the MEN on the 18th btw, so yeh ill need to go to manchester victoria from the hotel in the early hours, but i dont know my way around manchester at all so do you know how to get from that hotel to the MEN, and also from that hotel to the Victoria station at all??? Anyway thanks very much for your help with this, i see you are from manchester so you may know best.
  14. phew...(relief)... Well thanks for the help there, btw how can i get straight to victoria, like earlier than i need to, and take the metro to piccadily before im meant to? will be safer that way. And yeh the ticket was a very very good price:D
  15. Can i ask, is anyone going from Manchester to the show? If so, are you going by train? and when? Thanks if you answer this, im going from manchester on the early morning of the 19th, and im absolutely scarred to death by the tickets! I'll quickley explain; "OUTWARD JOURNEY Leg 1 Starting Station: - MANCHESTER VICTORIA leaving at 19/09/2009 05:38 Destination Station: - MANCHESTER PICCADILLY arriving at 19/09/2009 06:10 Leg 2 Starting Station: - MANCHESTER PICCADILLY leaving at 19/09/2009 06:10 Destination Station: - LONDON EUSTON arriving at 19/09/2009 08:27 Seat Number: B28A (Window Seat, Power Socket, Table Seat) Seat Number: B32A (Window Seat, Power Socket, Table Seat) Leg 3 Starting Station: - LONDON EUSTON leaving at 19/09/2009 08:27 Destination Station: - LONDON MARYLEBONE arriving at 19/09/2009 09:24 Leg 4 Starting Station: - LONDON MARYLEBONE leaving at 19/09/2009 09:24 Destination Station: - WEMBLEY STADIUM arriving at 19/09/2009 09:33 Total Full Adult Fare: 20.00 GBP (2 adult fare @ 10.00 GBP ) Total Travel Extras: 0.00 GBP Total Cost of Ticket(s): 20.00 GBP TOTAL PRICE: 20.00 GBP " Ok now that is the journey info for my train(s), for each changeover notice that there is no time between changing trains!! Now this scares me as i wont know where to go at each station, and something tells me they wont wait for me:( This just seems like a nightmare, im sure there will not be anyone else on the same journey, but its worth a try asking.
  16. Yeh i want Dont Panic! soooo long since they played it, Wouldnt mind a newbie to the live scene though, like rainy day or pm, The Dubliners looked fantastic but i dunno if they have worked on it at all or not cos its real short.
  17. Yeh thanks, we needed that reality check, ooh to be fair its just the excitement talkin you know? But your right(i hope).
  18. Yeh sounds good, ermm... all depends now upon the bloodey gates/entry points doesnt it? If we have the same then yeh, we can queue up together:D If there are only 2 entry points then where in big trouble i think, lots of people will be there at sunrise! But this still means that us yellowy goers can queue together i think, just depends on the first person in yellow to get there! Dont think it'll be me though, i dont even get to london until 9am! But all this chat is irrelevant until we get those all-important tickets, for the entry points and so on...
  19. So... I will be wearing the yellow t-shirt of course, (plus the bag too!!) and so will be easily recognizable as a coldplayer, now i know i am still new to coldplaying, but i hope that people dont mind my lack of posting, and see me as one of there own lol, (i no that wont mantter on the day really). I will be queueing on my arrival, around 9:00am, and i will be more than happy if im near the front, to allow fellow yellowers to join me, and no-one will really say anything. But if others are there first then ide like the same treatment too :) But if someone does have a problem with me letting others join me, i'll say we are already together, but the more that come, the less chance that will look likely of course, i wonder how i could get past this, as i'd love to help other coldplayers as much as possible!
  20. yeh everyones got the same, and from other ticket comps also i just want them to find out my gate and so on.
  21. OK. That is one of the greatest clips ive ever seen! And what time will you be getting to wembley to start to queue may i ask? How was Stokholm btw and did you get near the front there or not?
  22. I too hope that the guys realise how much they have affected and changed our lives, for the better of course. But i somehow dont believe it, i bet it is very hard to comprehend or grasp just how meaningful their music and lyrics are too other people from afar. And wow Johku, you have been posting a heck of a lot over the last week or so, well done you. Plus looking great in the wembley t-shirt, keep up the good-work.
