  1. Really??? I didnt know that the bbc had anything to do with this gig. Where did you hear/read that, and do you have a link plz, thanks
  2. signed Would/ (WILL hopefully) be a truly momentous occasion, shoud sell out fast as too.
  3. Little intimate gig that one too!
  4. Im also gonna see em at newcastle in november so thatll be quality. Really did fantastically at Glasto yesterday like.
  5. Another tour diary anywhere like the live 2003 one and ill be over the moon. It seemed to give us that bit extra access and was very revealing. But a Wembley show would really top it all off in style.
  6. I disagree with SS on The Scientist. 100% its in my top 5, probably top 3 tbh. But i agree that LiT(ii) is very weak indeed for closing the show. On that note I love LiT but i really really cannot stand LiTii at all.
  7. Hey The White Lies as everyone should know are supporting our very own at both of the Wembley dates this september. Honestly, I am looking forward to them soooo much its not real, I am not sure how many people going to the shows are actually aware of WL but I would like to urge everyone to get familiar with 'em, ASAP. They absolutely rocked at Glasto earlier today, and, I was impressed. Death is such a cool lead single of course (which is important) but as an album "To lose your life..." is just quality throughout and actually despite their huge differences to Coldplay, I reckon that being a CPer their music becomes so very easy to listen to. Anyway I would love to know if people agree, or not, and to hear your thoughts would be ace. A big thanks to Coldplay and to whoever pushed for White Lies to fill the fantastic line-up for Wembley, which will be the greatest one-day gig in history> Merci Beau-coup. ;)
  8. I'd like to add that I would really love this in HD preferably Blu-ray format. Do you think that it would be released on Blu-ray? I ask this as many many other artists have had their concerts recorded and released on dvd plus Blu-ray. I am aware this has little at all if nothing to do with the band but it would be very very cool indeed.
  9. airieslady, you summed that one up very effectively, thats sort of what i was meaning but i took a while longer telling it. I dont think we are actually owed the dvd we want, but i just reckon that it makes a whole lotta sense to take their biggest ever show, and actually show it ( to the world. )
  10. Hi guys, Just thought that we need this, im not sure if it will make any difference at all but its worth a shot! Lets tell em why we are soooo desperate for the wembley shows to be filmed. (and released of course). Ill Start: _______________________________- #1 Thanks very much for lrlrl, it is a great taster for a potential live dvd guys, but i would much rather have the recording of your biggest ever gig, in the perfect way at the end of your glorious world tour, than just another normal show from vancouver. Be true to your roots and promise us the DVD we all crave. If you can do that for us then we all promise to sing the greatest finale to viva la vida the world ever saw. Thanks, P.s. try and keep it short and sweet, i no that i rambled on so i do apologise. And please number your response if it is your signature and agreement to this petition. ;)
  11. My only real hate for any Coldplay song is , and im gonna get a load of crap for this but, IN MY PLACE It just feels really weak and repetatively boring to me. Believe me ive tried and ive tried to like this song, but i have to admit defeat and , no i bloodey hate it! ... But im a bit 2-faced, ill be singing as loud as anyone else when they play this at wembley!!!
  12. Thank you so much for that, has helped me a lot. The travelodge park royal is apparently only 1.9 miles from wembley. Do you think a cab would be very expensive for that sort of distance? This is my first time to london or wembley and I dont really know too much about public transport, do you know when the tube stops running as the gig will probably be going on pretty late i think. Again thanks for you help.
  13. I am definately staying over but i have not booked yet, i hope i am not leaving the hotel booking too late. It will be insanely beautiful to have a massive ammount of us out there in the same shirts. Would you have any reccomendations on a good hotel to stay at, i am getting the train to wembley stadium station btw.
  14. Oh yeh, so our entry points will be on the tickets right, has anyone recieved there tics yet??? And i suppose itll be a lucky draw as to who gets let in first for standing like me, as i would imagine they wont let everyone in at the exact same second for safety, people like me just sprinting flat out towards the rails at front! So are people gonna purchase and wear their t's to the gig? I no I will be.
  15. Hi, im still very new to coldplaying but i love coldplay to death! I am incredibley fortunate to be going to Wembley on 19th and i cannot wait! Can i ask that to this meet-up, would anyone at all, ( including me :) ) be invited and if so where and when are the majority of us meeting up, also how would we recognise each other??? I am guessing by wearing the beautiful t-shirts, and a massive cheesy grin! thanks ppl. -
  16. Hi fellow wembley go-ers. I would like to know if anyone is staying at : Travelodge Heathrow Heston - Eastbound I have went ahead and booked for the night of the 19th but i am not sure of transport to and from the gig. If anyone has booked this hotel and is going to the show i would love them to contact me asap, also i am traveling from manchester airport to heathrow and i know that this hotel is close to heathrow but is about 11 miles from wembley, so it will cost a fortune in a cab, a cab-share would be great. Unfortunately i think i will be the only idiot who is choosing to stay at this hotel!!! Thanks
  17. Well guys, they've gone and done it again, give us a great lift for the rest of the day. Only this time its for free and a thanks to us, i feel honoured to be a coldplay fan and always will.
  18. Hope this aint over the top but, I strongly believe that they do not need to thank us one little bit. I mean these guys have changed my life and im certain the rest of you guys agree. Four marvellouse albums and the best live performances of anyone, anywhere, are more than enough thanks. And this just goes to show that its great that soooo many people hate Coldplay, they will never know just what they are missing out on, and for that i thank 'em!!! Roll on wembley!...
  19. When performing the hardest part live, do they ever play it in full, i.e like the recorded version? I have attended a couple of shows on viva tour, and they have performed (much to my adoration) the hardest part acousticly, as in chris on the piano. I havent seen any vids of them doing so after searching but id love to see this. Any thoughts, Thanks guys
  20. BTW:- EFJ and the Juniors were bloodey mervellous in glasgow, december 08. Thats, Eugene Francis Junior. He was very fresh sounding, and seemed pretty DTE when talkin to the pilgrims. Wouldnt mind him on the bill but i dont think many will agree, and no way he can pull off wembley stadium! Not confident enough i dont think,,,... Any thoughts?....
  21. Well i still thank you guys for your replies. (and that rhymes. well, it does!). any names that could be thrown in the hat, who would your perfect support be? or who do you actually think the 3rd act will be?!!
