He tells the story we all know about how he sings the way he does. He didn't have a PA at their original practice space so he had to plug his microphone into his amp. They were playing really loud so he had to sing much louder over the sound. That's how he started to sing the way he does. He was trying to convey a melody over all that sound they were making. :) He is then asked to say something in Danish, but says something in Finnish instead. I don't know what though... :\

:dance: We must share the Mewness with Anita. Join us Paula. :dance: Welcome new Frenger. That's the nickname for Mew's fans. The name Frengers came from a cartoon (or was it a comic?) the singer made at age 11 about these creatures who were not friends, but not quite strangers.

Well, their last two albums are most accessable. Frengers (2003) and ...And The Glass Handed Kites (2005/2006) Above, I've posted a video from Frengers and then Kites, in that order. :) Lets hope you like them but if not that's fine. :thumbsup: All of their previously released 4 albums sound different, and their new album (from what I've heard) already sounds different than the ones before it. The songs from Frengers were originally on their first two albums (they took the best of those songs) and re-recorded them for that album. So there's more than one version of those songs, some have as many as 4 different versions... :confused: Frengers is more dream-pop sound whereas Kites is more progressive. Their first album they did as kids (teenagers) and has a more alternative rock sound. Their second is dreampop to twee to alternative rock... I find there's a lot of variety on their second album.

If you end up liking Mew too... I'd probably have to marry you. :stunned: haha
