It's indeed VERY brave to compare anythign Mew to Coldplay on mewsite. I'm surprised they haven't been shunned for life by now. :stunned: I can't really compare the three albums. They each have their own unique sound. Maybe I prefer Kites or Frenger ebcause I've gotten used to them. I'm sure in a few years when Mew releases something even more experimental I'll like it a lot better. It may even become one of my favorite albums in the world. I know that it's a real grower and over time I'll come to appreciate sooo much more than I already do now. I am really looking forward to it. :)

Welcome Monika! And I agree about the first intermezzo. The album had a good start, I wish it had builded but it stops there and then starts again. But I love this record already. :) I agree, not as good as Kites or Frengers, but it's amazing nonetheless. :D
