Two days ago, I went to my first Monkeys Concert ever ... they played an incredible Show in Dresden. And, what was really surprising me, they played the whole album (incl. "Riot Van") and some B-Sides. Was amazing. And before the show I met Alex Turner and so now I got my own picture with him on my mobile phone. Fucking amazing :D

I think "Finish Line" is good, but "Set the Fire to the third Bar" is even better. Beautiful duet

Oh yeah... that's really a fucked up effect, isn't it? But there are also some good videos around at the moment... Arctic Monkeys "View from the Afternoon" or Massive Attacks "Live with me" are great... or the new Pet Shop Boys Video. Very funny

Just if anyone is interested :D Coldplay won the ECHO Award, Germanys most important music prize, yesterday as "Best International Group". They weren't there of course and I'm also not quite shure, If they did a video message or something. But gratulations, guys :)

I really hope they do a step into another direction... not too drastic, but I mean they did everything they could do with the typical Coldplay-Sound on the first 3 records. It would be really, really great If a new album doesn't have the typical Piano-Ballad-Sound... Look at U2, they comepletly invented theirselves new in the 90s and It was good cause they expanded their musical horizon. Please, Coldplay... not another "X&Y" with the typical Coldplay-Sound... I hope they do a new album... faster and darker, like Chris once said

I also prefer "Frengers" instead of "Glass Handed Kites"
