  1. I love just about every Coldplay song on every album, but I'm not really liking the new stuff. The music is too much, and to me, it sounds like Chris' voice is behind the music, which bothers me. I also don't like Rainy Day and Glass of Water so much. I would rarely listen to them, not because of the lyrics, but because of the music. When I first heard ETIAW I thought it sounded to pop and like something I'd hear overplayed on the radio. If I had just heard it, I seriously don't think I would have known it was them. The more I listen to it, the more I like it though. Of course I'll support Coldplay and I'm sure I'll learn to love it, but I was quite disappointed.
  2. Pretty sure I'm going. I wanna see The Postelles, and Coldplay like soooo bad. Cage the Elephant and Manchester Orchestra would be pretty amazing too! It would be a seven hour drive for me, plus the money for tickets, gas, and food. I definitely think I'll go but I'm not sure if it'll be worth it with the crazy crowd that'll probably be there. I'd rather see the bands without a bunch of crazy people that might ruin the whole thing, but if I can see them all for only $55 dollars, that's a really great price and festivals are usually quite fun. I don't know what to do!!
  3. Oh, and when I find someone that has deleted me as a friend on fb, I kind of want to add them again just for fun. Don't wanna be my friend? Okay, that's fine with me. Nothing new anyways.
  4. Heard Lovers in Japan at my town center tonight.
  5. HAPPY BIRTHDAY GUY! You're the love of my life!! :nice:
  6. It's disgusting to be related to you.
  7. So for my quinceanera, two of my dances are to Coldplay songs. LIT and Yellow by Vitamin String Quartet. My friends all think it was a great idea to have chosen those songs because they are Coldplay but Chris doesn't sing in them so most people wouldn't know it's Coldplay, but it is. My friend then tells me that she had chosen Yellow by Vitamin String Quartet for her freshman solo at school. I was like "Why hadn't you told me before?", because they all know I'm a huge Coldplay fan. But she changed her mind. Anyways, we had both heard Vitamin String Quartets version of Yellow in Ballet class a year ago. When I heard it I was like "OMG this sounds so familiar." then I figured it out and asked my teacher what song it was, and my friend laughed at me for knowing it was them and for being a fan. So everytime my teacher would play the song I'd always sing along and my friend would laugh at me. Oh, one time, she started singing it too. So yeah. More of a story than a random Coldplay thought. :uhoh:
