Obviously Coldplay's version was great. But I think any fan would feel the same way, if it was THEIR band being covered. Don't we all hate the Jonas Brothers' cover of Fix You?

I wish my teachers would pick on me as weird as that sounds! :rolleyes: My english teacher complimented my bag, and that's the most anyone has ever acknowledged Coldplay to me :dozey:

There's obviously that one song that made you fall in love with Coldplay...but where were you when you heard it and how did you wind up listening to it? I'm in the mood to see how we all wound up here! :D I'll share mine ;) My friend was obsessed with this band Coldplay. I'd heard of them but I didn't see what the big hype was. (:shocked2: how could I NOT SEE THE BIG HYPE?) Anyway, I'd heard Viva la Vida and I wasn't crazy about it, because we played it so many times in Chamber Orchestra anyway. One day I was bored on Itunes and decided to look up Coldplay. I listened to the Scientist and immediately fell in love with it. I played it over and over until I had listened to it for hours! At that time, I was a little sad since I was rejected from a guy I liked. The next song I listened to was Lost? and it actually brightened my spirits :) I didn't know why, but I liked it a lot. I kept listening to more and more of their songs until I ultimately fell in love with Coldplay. :heart: Now let's hear yours! :cool:
