I dunno, going to university for four years......it was an hour and a half both ways........ Sometimes it was good though, because I'd listen to my music......whenever I'd be arriving, I'd have God Save The Queen by The Sex Pistols as my "steping off the bus at my destination" theme song....haha Other days it was Black Hole Sun by Soundgarden... Commuting is good too if you're a writer. Like, you can start your day off with a serious bout of writer's block, then take a ride on the subway and see all sorts of crazy shit that'll spark the imagination. haha

that new cd is so good...Spaceman is great.

I saw them when they played the Toronto VFest. Hadn't heard anything by them before seeing them, didn't know who they were........but even then they were good. Really heavy stage presence. And Little Lover's So Polite is too damn catchy. haha

Pearl Jam - Backspacer!

Hey guys, haven't been on here in awhile, and looking for some opinions.... My friend has a business opportunity that could be worthwhile......but I'm a non-driver because of a disability I have. And so, I'd have to commute via the busses and subways... It's an (approximately) two and a half hour commute to get to the job site (one way). It would only be for a couple days a week. But on the other hand.........I think that spending five hours traveling in a day is f***ing ridiculous. Your opinions? Anyone else have any bad commuting experience? haha

Which EP would you be referring to? You Made Me Realize, Tremolo, Feed Me With Your Kiss, or Glider? As well, just saw the band a couple nights back in Richmond Virginia.....If any MBV fans here are graced with the oppurtunity to see this band, please do what I didn't do, and WEAR THE EARPLUGS! lol Or, don't wear the earplugs and literally be blown away by the concert of a lifetime. It's been two days and there's still a periodic ringing in my right ear...

I concur with this remark. Yea, the new stuff is good. I'm still getting into them. Being There, Summerteeth, and Yankee Hotel Foxtrot are essential. What about the other ones? I heard A Ghost Is Born is the toughest one to get into.

Well, it's old news now. But Kevin shields sid something along the lines of there being one album of stuff that was recorded but never complted from 96/7 and then there's going to be another album of newly recorded stuff. I wouldn't hold my breath though. It's damn near impossible to top Loveless, and it seems the band aren't releasing anything unless it will top it.

Best album? Summerteeth.

What are you all thinking of the new single, The Fixer? Pretty damn good in my books. Seein' them August 21st, third time. Can't wait.
