yeah actually, there were some people at the concert in washington, and they'd be like, "what's this song?" I didnt read through a lot of this thread. but it really makes me angry when people just like violet hill, and then they call coldplay and coldplay fans gay. or they don't even like violet hill, and write coldplay off just because of it. WTF!!!!!!!! violet hill is like, the worst song on the album! or maybe im just saying that cause bandwagoners overplayed it. ya know what I mean? its ok, just as long as they go back and listen to the old stuff I guess. to new fans: go back and listen to talk and politik and yellow and all the other awesome coldplay stuff! NOW! :beadyeyes: but its kinda like, coldplay is yours. and you don't really want to share it. except maybe with coldplayers. because they are just too awesome for everyone to like.

awww but..... shit. I guess you're right. but they're still coldplay... and they do make some ridiculously catchy songs even though a lot of people still dont get that. and its music that I'm pretty sure a lot of work has gone into. and it pays off. and they still have their other albums! its not like those albums just disappeared!! and there's more to come. I do miss the old coldplay but the new coldplay is awesome too
