ok, I was at a fitness camp a couple days ago, and this guy had volcom shorts that had a pattern of red and black and grey squares, and in each square there was a white v, either upside down or right side up. and I was sure that they said viva on it, or had a pattern of the letters in viva and I loved them. but then I came up close and that was not the case. good thing I didn't say anything...:wacky: Except if those shorts were in a girl version, and they ACTUALLY said viva on them, I'd be all over it like a fat kid on a smartie. :thumbsup: Actually, coldplay, you should make those. sign me up. :lol:

oh yeah I always buy my tickets through ticket brokers cause live nation and ticketmaster are ridiculous. you usually pay twice the price, but I'd pay anything to see coldplay, really. for me, it's so much more worth it to be front and center. just look it up, there's some more trusted places than ebay. like, eye contact makes my world!!! I just couldnt stop thinking about the time chris looked at me, and guy! and then I turned around, saw the 32 000 people, and was like, I wanna do that some day. so bad.

ok ok. that was just my take on it... :inquisitive: I still agree with you... most people don't know their shit well enough to compare coldplay to radiohead. That's just it. you should trust your own opinion, or one of someone who has heard a LOT of coldplay and a LOT of radiohead. or whatever, there's no rules. never mind. just everyone has their own opinion. and for the record, that was pretty much just an interview, word for word. so mr.man78, that's my answer, and I suggest just taking a peek at that interview if youre curious, I know I was. but don't trust the article parts, cause again, those are just opinions. and a lot of the RS writers don't know what theyre talking about. yeah so coldplay is kinda like radiohead, sometimes, but they are their own band, and in my opinion, make a lot better music.

don't worry, fitz, we understand. that makes a lot of sense actually. I kinda kept getting really annoyed at this comparison until I actually started listening to radiohead, and I find that coldplay has a lot more feel-good music, or music that speaks directly to the soul and just kinda takes control of you and your emotions (fix you, life in tecnicolor, everything's not lost). it is annoying when reviewers say that coldplay rips off radiohead. though, read the rolling stone article on chris, and the interview with him. its called the master of uncool or something like that, and chris says that the biggest coldplay influence is radiohead, and he said that coldplay is the very best at plagarizing. something along those lines. but he's right, no one should be ashamed of taking inspiration from other bands. I plan on trying to be like coldplay in a band someday!

thank you. holy man it was 45 degrees celcius that day too (don't know what it was in farenheit but it was HOT, probably around 115). but the best concert ever made up for the happenings up to it! row 5 :) I just died in lovers in japan!! and those security guards learned never to mess with a crazed coldplayer ever again :laugh3:

oh I've got one! you know you're addicted when you travel for 5 days to get to the concert, and the campground security guards want to take you to the police station (believe me, it was for the stupidest reason) but you got so emotional and angry when you figure out that you're gonna miss the concert that the police and security don't want to deal with your threats of who-knows-what (I was in an angry rage, I don't know what I was saying) :wreck::bigcry::beadyeyes::veryangry2::bomb: :furious2:and let you go just cause you were so crazy and emotional about coldplay. :escaping:long sentence. but I would've killed myself and everyone around me :smash: it was quite the ordeal but we got to the concert in the end:dance:

^^aww too bad you didn't get a nice chris dream Im pretty sure I mentioned this somewhere already but a couple days ago I had a dream where I was on a rooftop in new york or somewhere, and the whole band was there. I went over to say hi, and they were all really excited about something, especially chris! he said, "oh we need to make a grand entrance to this concert that we have in 10 minutes, and we're trying out a new mode of travel! come with us!" It started raining butterfly confetti EVERYWHERE and we started jumping from rooftop to rooftop, sometimes having to get out umbrellas and use them like in the strawberry swing video. the whole time we were all laughing hysterically and seeing how fast we could go while lovers in japan was playing really loud. we kept jumping from building to building in the masses of butterfly confetti until we made it to the stadium and floated in with our umbrellas onto the stage. I got to be on the stage for the whole show and jump around with all of the guys:D oh it was amazing!!! oh yeah and for some reason will kept sinking more than us and we had to go get him a couple of times so he didn't fall when we had umbrellas. and guy was always way higher than us.

haha nope I dont live on a mountain. well i dunno I live in some hills... in Alberta. but right on the edge of the rockies. I have a cabin on a mountain though. but there's no snow right now, so I'm headed to austria! anyway wtf am I doing on the comp. at like 3 am, aha. I guess I can answer that, coldplaying is awesome! yeahh you should try it! not sure where you live, might be hard to find a mountain but its pretty sick. I go 5 days a week. its a good life...

When you have dreams about jumping around with chris 'n the boys in masses of butterfly confetti. I woke up the next morning with a permanent smile on my face. :)

hey everyone! I'm playyourlife I guess, don't know if I should put my name out there yet (yeah kinda new to this). I love coldplay a lot, and have grown up with their music (no, I'm not that old so this is possible) and went to my first coldplay concert at the gorge at george in washington this july. one of the best nights ever :) anyway I love playing any sports, and guitar (first song I learned was parachutes! and then don't panic and strawberry swing) and I love music. and skiing. and my fave coldplay song is politik, right by strawberry swing and death and all his friends I guess. it changes a lot. so yep! thats me. hope to meet some cool coldplaying fans and such. theyre a pretty big inspiration to me so I'm immersing myself! :cool: oh yeah, and I'm from canada
