Interesting. :) I haven't heard of many people dropping out of med school here (maybe its because they're older and know what they want?). But, it's great that you stuck with it, especially since you love it. :D Ah, would that be the ileocecal valve getting messed up? We heard about that in Nutrition (sounded disgusting) :uneasy:

So, you go directly into med school from the schooling system? I wanted it to be that way since I was always so sure of what I wanted to do. What you say about not really knowing that medicine is your thing until med school is definitely true, though it would suck to realize that medicine is not your thing when you've already spent thousands on applications, interviews and even more (loans!) on fees for school.

Sorry for intruding, but I was intrigued by the subject. I read a two pages in before I decided 14 was too many. haha Anyway, I'm assuming you go to med school in Ukraine. I'm just curious, how does the med school system work there (do you do a Bachelor's before)? Unfortunately, I'm 20 (3rd year undergrad) and getting ready to apply. I think I appreciated the whole undergrad thing since it gives you time to know if medicine is really what you want, but it would've been nice to bypass all those years of stressing about applications and extra curriculars.

I haven't been on here in ages! Yes, university takes up life :( Anyway, I was flipping channels and heard Yellow being played only on a violin (no vocals) on So You Think You Can Dance. It was interesting...I think I could get used to it. So yeah...I got somewhat excited at hearing Coldplay on a random show :D

You can get cholesterol from foods other than meat. Anyway...are we still posting recipes here? I might get around to that over the weekend :)

Dancing to Coldplay songs? Strawberry Swing sounds great :D I can't think of anything else unless it's interpretive dance or the songs are the remixes. Anyway, my random Coldplay moment: I was listening to the local DJ two mornings ago, and they were doing the daily scoop (?)...apparently Blake Lewis (I guess he was on a past American Idol) has a new album coming out. They were listening to his songs...they played one, and AJ (the DJ) says "Me thinks someone has been listening to too many Coldplay songs"...as if that's a bad thing and it had a bad effect on his music...not. I didn't really like the song, but it wasn't very Coldplayish :\ The next day, though...AJ mentions that his one feminine thing is liking Miley Cyrus. No wonder :rolleyes: Also saw a Viva bumper sticker altered to have some frat letters underneath on a car at my university parking lot. I don't know how I feel about that since I'm not really into the frat scene. Hmmm..oh well..How are you guys doing?
