Led Zeppelin and Rush are my favorite bands, and I've loved them forever, but I also really, really love Coldplay, and I'm not obsessed with any other band the way I am with Coldplay :thinking: I like a lot of classic rock, such as Yes The Rolling Stones Black Sabbath Creedence Clearwater Revival Cream/Eric Clapton Bob Dylan Pink Floyd The Police The Who U2 Deep Purple And the more recent bands I like are Coldplay :heart: The Killers Franz Ferdinand Kasabian Wolfmother Avenged Sevenfold Kings Of Leon The White Stripes Dream Theater Alice In Chains Soundgarden And then they're a lot of others I love that I'm sure no one would care about :D

I also saw The Nappies for the first time today! I got some weird looks from my roommate as I was laughing lol... But anyways, it reminded me of something The Lonely Island would do :laugh3:

So, does anyone think that Coldplay should try writing a few longer songs? As in, a song or two over 7-8 minutes? An "epic?" (yes, Coldplay have many "epic" songs, but in this case I mean length) I'm not saying ALL Coldplay songs should be longer, because then that would probably become too progressive for their style, but personally, I think every now and then, some nice drawn-out instrumental sections in a song would be nifty. Or not lol :confused: I already searched to see if there was a similar topic, but didn't find one....sooooo, if there is one, I'm sorry for being a n00b lol :rolleyes:

Awww this is making me feel sad...like the Viva La Vida era is officially gone/dead now and we're all having a memorial =( But I suppose the excitement of looking forward to a new album and new theme is comforting...

Hey, my name's Regan, and I'm fairly new to Coldplay, but I feel like I've known them all my life <3 I haven't been fortunate enough to see them in concert yet (I can't believe I missed the VlV shows!! gaaaahhhh), but now it's a priority in life lol.
