[2016-06-15] Wembley Stadium, London, UK
These tickets entitle you to either stand or find a seat in the lower tier. They've split the stadium down the middle for these tickets but you'll certainly be able to stand either side :)

[2016-06-18] Wembley Stadium, London, UK
Managed to get standing tickets in the green zone, really excited for this. I've been to Wembley tons of times for various things but my Coldplay debut in 2009 in the rain (still got the water-damaged gig poster up in my room actually!) was definitely my favourite visit  Roll on June!

Ghost Story - your review
I waited until my deluxe version arrived from the States before I listened to the bonus tracks, as I felt like the album-release experience had been diluted by how much of it had been heard prior to release, so this was my way of keeping it interesting. I love how this song is a throwback to the older times, almost as if it's a song they wrote and recorded ten years ago, and then re-produced it with the latest production techniques and musical tastes. It works wonderfully, and it's awesome that you car hear everyone's individual influences in the song, the drums and the guitar coming out very strong. I understand why it's not on the main album, but it's up there with AIMH, Ink and True Love on my favourites from this album (that list changes constantly though!). 9/10

A Sky Full Of Stars!! (Out now - See first post)
I prefer it live, as you can hear the individual instruments better, whereas they get lost a bit on the record. Don't get me wrong, I love the song, possibly my favourite, and it's not as bad in that sense as the more recent songs, but it's one of those songs that sounds better live, much like Charlie Brown or Paradise.

A Sky Full Of Stars!! (Out now - See first post)
I among many first heard the song (snippets anyway) on the Zane Lowe interview. In that interview they say that there is production in there with Avicii, and as soon as you hear the first drop, you can immediately hear the parts he has done. I like Avicii and his music (I am a fan of EDM, but was sceptical hearing that it would be in this song), but I think Avicii always uses the same sounds in a lot of his hits and it is a little annoying to hear it again first time around. But once I got past that little annoyance, and heard the song in full, I've really fallen for this one, as it has everything I like in a big Coldplay song. The piano hook, the build, the nice lyrics (albeit repeated a lot) and the close at the end. Plus, it hasn't been overproduced, which they've been guilty of doing to a lot of upbeat songs that I've liked from the last few albums, such as LiJ, HLH and CB. All in all, I'm a big fan, as I love an uplifting song and it's great that the big single to launch the album isn't too far adrift of what Coldplay do best this time.

Ghost Stories, release date: 19 May 2014
The last two shops I've bought a Coldplay album in on release day have shut down before the next one got released (VLV in Woolworths and MX in HMV Oxford Street). I'm scared it's going to happen again :(

[9-Jun-2012] Coldplay @ Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2012, Wembley Stadium, London, England
Forgot to add my review of this. I was sat right at the back, and it was only myself and a girl 7 or 8 seats down who cared. I didn't fancy being the only person standing up for them, but I did go crazy sitting down :D Majority of people didn't care about them really, which proved to me they're just not meant for the pop crowd, and maybe shouldn't try so hard to mix it with them. As I had been to the Emirates 5 days previous, I wasn't bothered by the lack of atmosphere. Princess of China messing up didn't help. But ah well, I enjoyed it, then hit the watered-down, overpriced Carlsbergs to make the rest of the show go by easier. :laugh3:

Sorry about the narrow video, I struggled to fit them all in with Landscape view :D [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYWvdoHuVTc]Coldplay - Speed of Sound (with Simon Pegg) - Emirates Stadium, London- 4th June 2012[/ame] Just remembered watching back- there was a guy singing "Lights come flying at the speed of sound". Lights? Have I missed something?

Struggling to get excited for this. I'm half-expecting they'll play Paradise, Princess of China and then just leave. Leaving me to put up with alot of awful music for the following 6 hours.

I could upload loads of videos, but I'll stick with one for now, as it is my favourite. If anyone wants, I could upload my super up-close vid of Speed of Sound, next to the C-stage. [4-Jun-2012] Coldplay @ Emirates Stadium, London, UK
Watched back my video of the start, and noticed that the timing of the very beginning of Hurts Like Heaven is completely off- the little piano riff and the fireworks start about a second early, and it threw me completely singing along :D But the band, the pros that they are, didn't even flinch.

I woke up yesterday morning, feeling pretty sad that I hadn't been to any of the three shows in London. Yet. So I attacked Twitter and found a guy up in Peterborough with two tickets, so I found a friend who wanted to go, went to Peterborough and back on the train (200 miles of travelling I did yesterday), and pretty much went straight to the gig :D It all happened so fast, but it was so worth it. The other two Coldplay gigs I've been to have had months of anticipation and excitement, building up to going. This was a matter of hours, so we had to pinch ourselves when they got going. I love this setlist, all of my favourites (since they added DLIBYH and re-added LiJ) featured, so I was very happy with the whole show. It was nice that they didn't have a mess-up, because they were funny the first time, but they're a bit annoying after a while. It was the first time I was nowhere near the front as well, but we stuck ourselves next to the C-stage, and it was totally worth it, so close to the band and Simon Pegg  Pretty disappointing when half of your photos are blurry, but never mind, I know we all had a good time :) Oh, and it seemed weird that the gig started and was mostly played in daylight. One of the best feelings I've ever had was Hurts Like Heaven at the O2, just watching all the lights and listening to the music, got a huge shiver of delight when I realised what was going on  So it was sad the lights weren't really effective until around 10ish. But that's the summer for you. I'm going to Wembley on Saturday to see Coldplay play a few songs and then leave :p And that'll be daylight too, so another weird show.
