June of summer 2008 I was on a trip to Lake Placid, NY... 5 hour trip. I had my laptop and decided to look up some Coldplay stuff, because my one friend liked them. I heard Violet Hill and Green Eyes (I don't like Green Eyes much anymore.. not sure why, whatever) and immediately fell in love/looked up more songs. I have now had Coldplay on repeat for over a year.

So when I saw Coldplay in May for their Viva la Vida tour, the last song the pre-concert track played was the Blue Danube (look it up if you don't know it... you'll recognize it). I think that was by FAR the best song they could have chosen to start playing immediately after it ended. It was basically "daaaa da da DAAAAA da da daaa da daaaa da dun dadadun!" then right into the viva la vida background. Amazing. Anyone else have this experience?

I think wrist is probably the best.... but I could hide it easier on my foot if I ever had to ;)

So I'm seriously considering getting a tattoo of the lrlrl butterfly on either my wrist, foot, or side/back. I'm not sure if I would get a color or just black... but since I love Coldplay AND butterflies I think this would be great! Any ideas/feedback?

so over the entire summer i listened to "the hardest part" pretty much nonstop, especially the lrlrl version of the hardest part/postcards. i feel such a strong connection to the lyrics, and the music in general is just brilliant and beautiful. anyone else feel a connection to this song?

... at a coldplay concert in hershey, pa, i was the FIRST PERSON to punch one of the huge yellow balloons (played during yellow). confetti flew out and i felt so happy/accomplished!! most amazing night of my life!
