so i'm leaving for london in like a week and i've had no time to prepare :confused: so i'm hoping that some of y'all can give me some tips and places that i must see. i'll be there for about 4 days i believe arrive on 26 leave on 30th so i've got some time for some stuff. i was gonna pick up a book tomorrow or this weekend with the usual touristy stuff but i was wondering about other stuff that books might not know about also :wink3: and also other little friendly tips and advice you'd like to hand out :D

well i found it, and i found what sound of the Pogues they were basing it off of. it was Fairytail of New york featruring Kirsty MacColls but it's not like Talk and Kraftwerk they didn't take a riff, they just took the song and wanted to make a better version of it for example, not using it as a starting place but, something like that. i listened to both and well they really don't sound too similar at all :/ coldplay succeeded in making a better version all right :)

i dunno i haven't had any problems with this forum, just that temp. oh just a little one earlier yesterday i think but i haven't had much time to sign on the past few days.

hmm, my textbook for my field school i'm about to go on- classical archaeology in the field: approaches. gotta learn me some archaeology for my excavation in greece in a couple weeks. then on the side of that readin madame bovary which so far when i've gotten a chance to read it it's been quite good.

wow, very differing sounds? well differing from each other or from ya'll? cause well i don't know where to begin with this. i don't think i have any "pop" artists stuff i have from Air, m83, clinic, to Flaming lips, decemberists, mass amounts of radiohead, chin up chin up, rjd2, mingling with tortoise and the walkmen and the unicorns, wilco, and yo la tengo. ok i have to stop it's too much work, i just have real eclectic taste so i got a wide variety but i got some classic favs everyone has too i guess.
