  1. And another part of what we did wasn't even in that video
  2. Hey people, in regard to the questions... Since the questions were originally supposed to be on-the-spot to Phil and the Matts, are the questions supposed to be about them? Or can they be about anything?
  3. oops I just realized I spelled industrial wrong * changes original post *
  4. Ha, I didn't even think about that.
  5. I think the first take it was on the seventh 'oh'. They were probably like omg Coldplay fans are so stupid / can't count. Can you imagine if we tried to do it the way they originally wanted us to? That would have been, um, interesting.
  6. THIS I used to make granny squares for fun when I was a kid.
  7. ^ In that Christmas Lights still shot, it's almost like he's got this "hey, babay" look on his face.
  8. I don't think this has been discussed before (at least not in this thread) because I did a search on the word "side" and didn't see any posts relating to it. * yay for promoting the search function * So, this single... do you think it will just be Christmas Lights, or do you think it will be like other single releases that have b-sides? I know, shame on me for potentially getting people's hopes up, but I'm just curious what people's thoughts are on this.
  9. Probably not. It shouldn't anyway. If anything it might be better because people who like both would be like "awesome so much music is coming out right now I'm gonna play my mp3 for 16 hours instead of my usual 9 hours hoooo-ra". Kind of like when multiple video games come out in any given month and my husband gets all giddy and locks himself in his mancave for awhile to celebrate gaming.
  10. When I worked in a jewelry store years ago we had one of those tanks in our back room for when we would decorate the store for special events. News flash: It's not deadly, unless possibly you suck in all of the helium from the balloon at once. And it wouldn't be the helium that would kill you anyway, it's just the displacement of air/oxygen in your lungs. Oh, and if you try to take it directly from the tank that might kill you, but again not because of the helium itself, but because you have a good chance of making your lungs 'splode. They were just using megaphone scare tactics to keep us well-behaved. But it was funny!
  11. omg whatever you do DO NOT INHALE THE HELIUM IN THE BALLOONS IT IS INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH HELIUM YOU'LL DIE AND STUFF
  12. You're admitting that you didn't read the description/conditions of the boat tour, yet you complained to them about it? That is probably the first direct input that they received from any "fans" (I'm using that term loosely here), by implying that lots of people were disappointed. It's one thing to express it here, it's a completely different story to go to their door and ask them to come out just so you can tell them how disappointed you are and "oh by the way while you're out here I want to get some pictures with you even though I just told you that you suck." Unbelievable. Actually I don't know what is more unbelievable: the fact that you did it, or the fact that you don't see anything wrong with what you did. You walked past me that morning and we briefly spoke (I was one of the people that didn't walk by the studios because there were too many people just hanging around). Had I in any way known that you planned to directly tell them you were disappointed, I would have begged and pleaded and told you not to because of how rude it is to them and the other fans. Gosh, if only I had known... EDIT: Oh, and regard into the drinks issue, I don't know why people are complaining that they didn't give us free (alcoholic) drinks anyway. I'm 99.42% sure they didn't because it's a LIABILITY ISSUE. If they provide us with alcohol and we do something stupid to ourselves or someone else (like fall off the platform in the tube and get smashed to bits), they can probably be held liable and be sued. So I think it's a good thing that they didn't provide us with free drinks. Think for more than 2 seconds people!

  15. When I arrived home, my husband so kindly pointed out that I am now officially...
  16. I highly doubt that will be released in anyway, whether it be LP EP or otherwise. Too many instant comparisons to a Bruce Springsteen song.
  17. If any of them were expecting a delivery of any sort, pizza or otherwise, they would have just taken it from the person. They wouldn't order something and then say, "oh, I can't take it right now, you need to go across the street and wait from me/us to come out to you when I'm ready." That would be rude of them. And that would expose them even more than necessary. It is a place of business. If you are not involved in any way with running the business, there is absolutely no reason for you to be ringing the doorbell. Imagine if all fans who ever went there rang the doorbell. We wouldn't see LP5 for another 3 years because they couldn't get anything done. It's rude to the boys, and it's rude and disrespectful to the fans. That's just my opinion. But I'm pretty sure 99.42% of the other people here would have the same opinion.
  18. I'm surprised nobody else has said anything about this yet. Is it just me, or is ringing the doorbell completely inappropriate?!? What? Without being rewarded?!? BEING IN A COLDPLAY VIDEO FOR ALL TIME AND HAVING YOUR VOICE MIXED IN WITH THE SONG IS THE MOST AMAZING REWARD IN AND OF ITSELF.
  19. In regard to the boat tour itself, here are a few pictures. I decided not to post a few of them; although they were pretty, they revealed where the set was going to be. So I'll hold off for a few days on those. Natascha and I taking pictures of each other outside the pre-boat meeting place, Anchor's Tap. Picture of the bridge whilst waiting to board the boat Waiting to board This * long break after they confiscated our cameras * View from the boat (random scenery, trust me, nothing significant) Hanging out with a few people outside the back of the boat. Natascha on the left (vivala)Frida on the right. Oh yeah, and that's Debs to the far right. :awesome: I actually took more videos than pictures, but I'll wait until I get home to upload those. Or should I just wait until the fourth "oh"? inside jokes ftw
  20. I know this sounds incredibly cheesy, but I was just so happy to meet up with people I met this summer once again. For real. I cried and stuff. Best turkey day ever.
  21. Did you shout to Simon, "hey, aren't you in Coldplay?"
  22. So they'll send us a confirmation e-mail within 7 days. But what if it actually didn't get there and it is stuck in bank-wire-transfer limbo? If they don't have the money by Friday, they give your tickets to someone else. mmmkay.
